Hanoi
Start your day at Tran Quoc Pagoda, one of Hanoi's oldest temples, then move on to Ho Chi Minh's complex and the One Pillar Pagoda. You'll have a choice between checking out the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology or wandering through Bat Trang ceramic village. After grabbing lunch with local Vietnamese dishes, head to the Temple of Literature before finishing at Ngoc Son Temple next to Hoan Kiem Lake.

Hanoi to Halong Bay
You'll depart Hanoi around 8:00 AM for the 4-hour drive to Ha Long Bay. Once you board your cruise, fresh seafood lunch comes as you float through the water. Spend the afternoon swimming, exploring a cave, kayaking, or relaxing on an island beach. By evening, you'll watch the sunset and have seafood dinner on the boat.

If you're an early riser, catch the sunrise over Ha Long Bay. Breakfast happens around 8:00 AM followed by a local rowboat experience through the limestone formations. You'll have lunch on the boat as it heads back to port, arriving around 4:30 PM. From there, you'll fly to Da Nang and get transferred to your hotel in Hoi An.

Hoi An
Cycle through paddy fields and shrimp farms to reach Tra Que vegetable village where you'll get hands-on with digging, planting, and harvesting using traditional tools. Try the local E Water specialty, then cycle through rice fields to visit lantern-making craftspeople. You can create and take home your own handmade lantern as a souvenir.

Ho Chi Minh
At 8:30 AM, head out to the Cu Chi countryside to see tunnel networks left over from the war. You'll crawl through 50 meters of the 200 km tunnel system and visit a rice paper workshop in the morning. The afternoon focuses on Ho Chi Minh City itself, where you'll check out Cho Lon market, a hidden Chinese pagoda, Notre Dame Cathedral, the Central Post Office, and City Hall. You'll get back to your hotel around 5:30 PM.

Ho Chi Minh to Mekong Delta
You'll depart at 8:30 AM for the approximately 70 km drive to the Mekong Delta. From there, drift down the river's busy waterways into quieter canals. Visit island orchards and see how farmers live their daily lives while trying exotic seasonal fruits. Explore islands on foot, take a local cruise, learn to make coconut candy, and visit a bee farm to taste local honey paired with rice wine or tea. The tour wraps up around 4:30 PM.

After breakfast, you'll head to the airport for your flight to Siem Reap. Once you arrive, you'll transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon, take a boat on Tonle Sap Lake to Kampong Pluk, passing floating houses and flooded forests. Later, visit Artisans d'Angkor to see craftspeople creating silk fabrics, stone and wood carvings, lacquer ware, and other traditional pieces.
