Hue
Your guide meets you for a short transfer to Hue Citadel, where you'll start exploring the imperial grounds. From there, you cycle along the Perfume River toward Thien Mu Pagoda, taking in the riverscape as you go. The route continues to Tu Duc tomb and through the Incense Village, giving you a sense of how locals work with traditional materials. Next comes Khai Dinh Tomb with its modernist design, quite different from the other royal tombs you'll see. Vong Canh Hill offers a viewpoint before you ride to Thuan An Beach for a coffee break and swim if you feel like it. Thuan An to Hoi An
This day starts early from Thuan An Beach as you cycle coastal roads through coconut palm-lined lanes, heading toward Phuoc Tuong Pass. You'll check out ancestral tombs scattered across sand dunes along the way, then stop for lunch at Lang Co Beach. After eating, the riding gets more serious: a 12 km climb with rolling hills to reach Hai Van Pass at its peak. That's where the payoff comes, because from there it's a 12 km downhill run into Danang. A transfer takes you from Danang to Hoi An for the night, so you can rest up after that significant effort.

Hoi An
Starting in the morning, you walk through Hoi An's old port town with someone who knows the history, wandering narrow lanes lined with centuries-old buildings that show Chinese, Japanese, French, and European influences from centuries of trade. You'll see the 400-year-old Japanese Covered Bridge up close, visit Phuc Kien Assembly Halls, and check out the local fish market. Art galleries and tailor shops line the streets too, so there's time to browse if something catches your eye. Later, you cycle out to Tra Que Village where you join farmers doing traditional gardening work in the fields.
