  This review is only about Vio Travel and not TourRadar. Our tour was an absolute nightmare... three of us booked this tour. Our buddy a little later than us. On site it turned out that we were not on the tour together and we were also put up in different hotels. We asked for a statement several times. Days later, we were told that we had never booked a group tour. They were specialized in singles tours. Even when we sent photos of the booking, they insisted that we had not booked a group tour. So if we wanted to do something together, we would have to pay the costs ourselves. On the very second day, we had booked an 8-hour tuk-tuk tour. We were sent a driver for one hour. When we complained about this too, we were told that this was in the description on Tourradar and had nothing to do with Vio Travel. This would have to be checked. After a lot of back and forth, we were then credited another 7 hours as a gesture of goodwill! This was booked and paid for and should not have been seen as goodwill. My girlfriend and I were booked as a couple. So we always had to share a bed! We never claimed to be a couple. We are just friends! Every day there was stress and trouble with this company. We had to complain about something every day. Sometimes we were completely ignored for several hours and no reply was sent because everything had to be agreed with whoever first. They tried to get money out of everything. The tour only consisted of organizing a cab for us and taking us somewhere. The local people spoke virtually no English. Not tragic, but it was nothing like a guide. They were poor people who probably showed us the area for a pittance. We could have done it cheaper on our own. Our friend sometimes booked new hotels so that we could be together. We saved money wherever we could! In one hotel, for example, we were given our breakfast in plastic boxes. Transfers were sometimes forgotten and had to be organized later. Hotel rooms were not booked or were accidentally canceled by the organizer. The hotel on site was kind enough to provide us with the email from Vio Travel with the cancellation. Vio travel insisted until the end that they had not canceled. The highlight was the airport transfer. I informed them at the beginning of the tour that we had different arrival/departure times. I received written confirmation that this was not a problem. One day before departure, we were told that only one of us could have the transfer. The other one would have to pay. They would be happy to provide a driver, which we would then have to pay for. LOL! The whole thing was a joke! We documented everything neatly and took pictures. What we experienced was pure rip-off on the part of Vio Travel. A nightmare. Far from relaxing and fun! Never again! The whole thing is now under legal investigation, especially as Vio Travel changed their website during our tour and suddenly changed the tour to a private tour. However, we have the screenshots!

  Holiday from hell,my friend and I (2 girls)booked a group tour with Vio travel,our male friend booked the same tour knowing we will all be together.When we got to our meeting point we were informed that there is no tour guide and no group just the 2 of us ,we were completely on our own ,they didn’t even tell us about our other friend who booked the same tour,he was completely on his own . We were in a different hotels,they made so many mistakes,wrong booking,time etc,issues every single day! Communication was very poor. Day 12 of our tour completely changed by Vio travel without even informing us ,I had to ask them why are they changing our itinerary without us knowing. We kept telling them that what we booked was a group tour to travel and meet new friends not to be on our own ,they kept telling us it’s a private tour and we never booked a group tour.We had to complain every single day ! We asked them to put us all together (with our male friend )but they said we will have to cover the cost if we want to switch hotels . We both paid full price for our holidays but on our last day Vio travel informed us that only one of us gets the Airport Transfer and one has to pay full price which is totally unacceptable as they knew from the beginning that we will not be going home together as we both live in 2 different counties. What we paid for wasn’t a group tour ,all they did was booking hotels and taxi for us ,that’s all.I also noticed after our recent complaints ,Vio travel changed the description of the tour on their website from tour group to private tour.We didn’t get what we paid for ,Totally unacceptable,a lot of stress every single day,far from relaxing.Never again!
