Asked on November 30th, 2023Would like the option to take the train to or from Sa PA, rather than going both ways by car/shuttle. Can't this be possible? Also is there any way to borrow or hire warm jackets or rain coats if the weather turns bad in Sapa in January?
Asia Pacific TravelOperator•Written December 2023We can arrange a night train from Hanoi to Lao Cai train station, then the shuttle bus will pick up from Lao Cai to Sapa town. For warm jackets: you should prepare in your luggage. For a rain coat: you can buy in Sapa if it is rainy. Notes for the train cabin: there are 4 sleeper beds in a cabin. There are 2 rows and each row has 2 floors. The surcharge for this option is USD $50/person.

Day 1: Hanoi arrival – City tour – night train to Sapa Day 4: Lao Cai station - Cat Cat Village - Cloud Dragon bridge Day 5: Sapa - Fansipang Cable car - Hanoi Day 2: Hanoi - Halong - Stay overnight on boat and no stay on boat Day 3: Halong bay – Hanoi Day 6: Departure. About the weather on September is autunm so it's not hot specially it's cool in Sapa or you can visit Hanoi on October, it's nice too. The price will add more for Cloud Dragon bridge and this place only private car and guide take you to visit and another still is group tour. The price: stay in hotel's Ha Long: 440$. The price for overnight on the boat: 460$
