Itinerary
- Day 1
Uyuni
After your arrival at the airport or bus station, you'll grab breakfast before heading out into the Salar de Uyuni salt flat by 4x4 vehicle. The route takes you through the train cemetery and the town of Colchani, where you can see how salt gets processed using traditional methods. From there, the drive continues about 80 km to Incahuasi island, where giant cacti cover the summit and provide great views across the salt flat and toward Tunupa volcano. You'll watch the sunset with a snack while you're out in the middle of the salt flat, then head back to Uyuni for the night.

Uyuni
This morning you'll check out San Cristobal and its modern mine, then head to Alota town. After that, you walk through Rocks Valley and visit three different lagoons: Canapa, Hedionda (where flamingos hang out), and Turquiri. By evening you'll be back in Uyuni after spending the day traveling between these spots.
