Our guide, Bonnie, was awesome, and with him, we managed to see all of the 'Big Five' and many more animals in their natural habitat. We also visited the Datoga tribe, which was an incredible way to experience the diverse culture found in Tanzania. We started off with a day in Lake Manyara National Park, followed by 5 days in Serengeti National Park, and 2 days in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, which included hours exploring the crater and visiting the Bushmen around Lake Eyasi. He made the safari fun, relaxed, and educative. We saw lots of lions, elephants, giraffes, hyenas, warthogs, baboons, zebras, buffalo, and lots of different birds. We stayed in a couple of beautiful lodges in the wild bush and they were awesome. Our favourite was the Ikoma Wild Camp in North Serengeti and Ngorongoro Inn in Karatu. Best Time for the Great Migration: Late September to early October is still a great time to witness the Great Migration, especially in the Northern Serengeti, where the wildebeest are often crossing the Mara River or grazing nearby before moving southward.

Tanzania does not require the yellow fever vaccine if you are coming directly from most non-risk countries (e.g., Europe, North America). July is one of the best months for witnessing the Great Migration in the Serengeti, as the herds are usually in the northern or central regions, often near the Mara River.

Asked on July 24th, 2025I have interest in a safari trip to Tanzania. I read that this is a trip without flights included. Can you tell me how much extra for the trip and if there are any other costs to consider? Can the flight also be booked with you or should we do this ourselves? Is this a group trip? Do you also have individual trips? Are these much more expensive? We are not absolutely tied to a specific period. What is the best period to make this trip? May still be in 2025 if possible, but spring 2026 is also fine.

This is a Private Trip and it's very budgeted. There is no specific period for this trip, you can book at any time, this year or 2026 it's just a matter of your choice.

Asked on June 30th, 2025We are very interested in this tour but wondering how much time is spent travelling to destinations and how much time is actually spent on safari within the parks. We have been advised that early morning and evenings are the best time to see the animals but how does this work if you are not leaving accommodation until after breakfast and then driving to the park. Also, on the full day in the Serengetti are there safaris included or do you have to pay an additional fee. If so do you have an indication of the cost. Essentially how much time is actually spent on safaris and how much time is spent on getting to each destination.

The First Day You will be in Arusha at Gold Crest Hotel, and the Distance From the Hotel to Tarangire National Park, it's around 2 Hours. From Highview Hotel in Karatu, to Serengeti Distance it's around 4 Hours. From Serengeti to Ngorongoro, 3 Hours. Yes your very right, but kindly note in Serengeti National Park we will just accommodate you in our Hotel located inside of the Park. Full day in Serengeti is included From the Price, you don't need to pay any additional Fee please.
