  An Amazing Experience Fez Tours is a wonderful organization. Our guide, Halil, was always professional, humorous, and there for us 24/7. Seriously. For someone who had to babysit nine Ausies, Kiwis, and Yankees for fifteen days, he deserves sainthood. Thank you for the wonderful tour of Türkiye. I learned so much. And kudos to Genghis our driver, as well. I would go back in a heartbeat.

  This was one of our favourite adventures! The pace was just right. A few things to do each day without getting up at the crack of dawn, but early enough to mostly miss the crowds. A few days for us to explore on our own and some stops with two nights in the same place. Hotels were varied and all quite nice, with some spectacular/unique. The best part? Our guide! Can (pronounced John) was knowledgeable, patient, helpful, sensitive to the group’s needs and had a sense of fun. He made us all feel safe and well cared for, giving us options to add/subtract stops. I can’t say enough positive about him. Would highly recommend any tour that he is leading! The other great thing was our fellow travellers. There were 5 of us on the tour and we got along so well that it would be hard to imagine the tour without them. They certainly added to the experience!!

  Fez flying carpet tour was an amazing tour. Our guide Can was knowledgeable about all things turkey including the amazing and eye opening history. Our driver Murat was fantastic, kept us safe, and always happy. Fez tours was fabulous to deal with, everything explained via email before going on tour and all transfers arranged promptly.   This is a great tour to see and get to know Türkiye. The itinerary and the activities are designed well to allow us to taste good varieties. Fez Travel delivered and made it possible for us to experience a lot of Türkiye in the short two weeks. I am glad I chose Fez to see Türkiye with and it's definitely worth the time and money. I do recommend staying extra days in Istanbul after the tour as the city is easy and safe to get around and wonder around on your own. Our tour guide Fatih Karci was very knowledgeable and informative about the history of the sites that we visited; it's obvious that he was passionate about presenting his country to us first time foreign visitors in the best possible way. Our driver Murat was excellent at his job, delivering us the safest and comfortable ride throughout the trip with a caring heart. Fez reacted quickly when one of the hotels wasn't providing the right services to the group, thumbs up. The optional activities, paragliding in Fethiye, Dervish dance presentation and air ballon in Cappadocia were all wonderful extracurriculars making my trip even more memorable and enjoyable. Whether you are a history buff, adventure seeker, food lover or cultural explorer, go to Türkiye and you will find what you seek. It should be high on everyone's travel list. I sure will be back sometime in the future to know more of Türkiye.

  We had an incredible holiday in Turkey on the Flying Carpet Tour run by Fez Travel. There was an initial problem regarding our tour guide who did not want to do the job and treated us accordingly but when Fez became aware of the issue they sent in the wonderful Fa to guide the rest of the tour and along with our excellent driver Yilmaz ensured we had an unforgettable experience. 10 out of 10 for Fa and Yilmez and a huge thank you to Gilmez and the crew at Fez Travel for listening to their customers and ensuring a great holiday.   The 17 day Flying Carpet Tour of the beautiful country of Turkey was absolutely fantastic! This tour led by our guide, Osman, was everything we could’ve asked for, and more! From touring the ancient and grand mosques of Istambul, to strolling the Ottoman style markets, to sailing on the Aegean and Mediterranean seas, to flying in a hot air balloon over the fairy chimneys of Kapadokya… This trip has it all! Osman was an an excellent guide, who shared a true love of history and passionate knowledge of all aspects of the country of Turkey both past and present! Osman was outgoing, enthusiastic and engaging throughout the 17 day trip. He paid attention to every detail and always looked out to ensure our safety and comfort. This tour by Fez Travel, was an incredible way of seeing and learning the history of this beautiful country and feeling the warmth of its people. Thank you to Fez Travel and to our guide Osman for bringing Turkey into our hearts🇹🇷❤️!

  My holiday in Turkey was great, so I highly recommend it to anyone looking for interesting places, delicious food and friendly people. Touring the country was a fabulous experience, and that was primarily due to the efforts of my guide Omer (the driver Murat was also super). Omer was intelligent, courteous, informative and fun, and he was very attentive to my needs. He took me everywhere on the itinerary and even added some hidden gems when we had time for more. His knowledge of Turkey and its history is extensive, and he was great about sharing interesting information before we reached sites so I was prepared for maximum enjoyment. Omer consistently went above and beyond what you expect from your tour guide/manager, and I benefited greatly as a result. Simply speaking, he is great at his profession. Thanks to Omer and Murat at Fez Travel for making my holiday so special!

  This is an excellent way to experience the historical and cultural highlights of Turkey! We covered an amazing amount of ground in our 17 days and got to see and experience so much. Our guide, Tamer, was very knowledgable and helpful throughout. He explained everything clearly, paid attention to our specific interests and made sure we never felt rushed or like we missed out on something we wanted to see or do. We had no issues with the airport transfers, meals and hotels provided by Fez Travel and we felt really well-taken care of. At the end of our trip, Tamer even helped us arrange the COVID test required for us to fly back to the US. Highly recommended!

  Fez Travel gave us a wonderful, professional, and well-organized tour of Turkey. We took the Flying Carpet tour, and in 17 days we never wearied or had cause for any discomfort. We started out with 4 people in our tour, then 2 went on different tours so for about 10 days it was a private tour. Goksu was our guide, a consummate professional while always kind and extraordinarily helpful to all the small and great needs that arise when you are undertaking such a major journey. Goksu was also highly knowledgeable about every aspect of Turkey and answered all of our questions, from the most serious to the most trivial, in a thoughtful and relevant manner. (We are academics and historians and we found his mastery of his subject matter impressive.). As a seasoned guide he was able to take us to interesting lunch venues that were more authentic and out of the beaten path. On the whole, Goksu went out of his way to make sure we were getting more or less everything we asked for or needed. It was also very well-managed pre-tour, with Canan in the office willingly connecting us many times by zoom and email to help us feel we would be safe traveling during the [hopefully] winding down phases of COVID in Turkey. (Which indeed we were -- all our worries were groundless and on the whole Turkey was a lot more uniformly COVID-prevention-conscious than U.S.) In terms of the content of the tour it was a mix of key archaeological, historical and cultural sites and towns, a few cities including Istanbul, Antalya, etc. (see tour itinerary), resort experiences, and wonderful beach, swim, and boating experiences on the Aegean and Mediterranean coastlines. The optional boat tour in Fehtiye is not to be missed for the views and swims off the boat. Cappadoccia was of course uniquely interesting. The Flying Carpet tour involved extensive driving, over 3000 km from Istanbul along the Aegean coast to Ankara. It gives you a very good idea of the landscape of the western half of Turkey, and if you like views of mountains and coastal drives it's informative and fantastically rewarding. Yilmaz the driver did a great job transporting us in a 14-seater van through the entire journey in an always friendly, and consistent and safe way. The pace of the tour was just right for us, with sufficient time for meals, breaks and free time so that it felt like a vacation despite being on the road and changing hotels so often. The accommodations were good to very good, with the hotel in Bodrum , Kusadesi, and Pamakkule with fabulous pools. We came during a season and circumstance when there were a lot fewer tourists , so everything, including swimming, was delightful. Finally, we came to Turkey not really knowing what to expect . We found local people very welcoming and friendly, and the country's deep and varied history, culture, and geography mesmerizing., and the people we met really easy to get along with. We've traveled quite a bit worldwide but this trip stood out. Turkey is a secular Muslim country but as a foreigner there was zero accommodation to be made to adapt. It was also possible to eat quite well as a vegetarian, and more than a few restaurant meals were outstanding, especially if you can peel away from touristic joints. Recommend getting advice about where to eat from your local hotel or guide. We did not like either of the 2 restaurants we chose for ourselves (both in touristic areas) -- not the food nor the vibes. Turkey also produces good wine! In short, this was a great deal for a fabulous tour. (We'd rescheduled from the year before because of COVID and Fez Travel kept the same prices even though most of it was just the two of us.). We will definitely turn to Fez Travel if we decide to do another tour of Turkey which we very well might after this experience.
