Customer Reviews
- Victor· June 12th, 2025Perfect duration, activities were varied and the programming left the right amour of activity and rest/free time. Food was delicious and sights were incredible.Show more
- Jack· March 13th, 2025Overall it was an extremely well organised tour and communication with torradar staff was excellent. Occasionally driver pick-up times were changed at short notice and on one occasion the driver was 30 minutes late, so only just made the bus in time.Show more
- David· May 17th, 2025Ecuador is one of the most beautiful countries that I have visited. Its landscape is gorgeous. Its people are friendly and honest. The country is affordable. The food is delicious. The tour was fun! The local tour guides were extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the country. The experiences were varied. We visited cities, parks, churches, mountains, restaurants, ruins, markets, and even a school. It was very fun. The tour was organized well by Jeferson. He made sure all my questions were answered before and during the trip. He was always available day and night. Airport pickups and drop offs were very helpful as well. Give Ecuador a chance. You will not regret it. Responsible Travel will take care of you.Show more

What our customers ask about this tour

Asked on January 21st, 2025Is there an available shared room option?
- Responsible Travel South AmericaOperator•Written January 2025
Unfortunately, we don't have the option for a traveler to share a room with another traveler or tourist. The tour is not a set series where the same participants start and finish together. Instead, it's a tour where she will join different guides and travelers each day for the activities.

Asked on January 11th, 2025Is accommodation included in the price for all 11 days?
- Responsible Travel South AmericaOperator•Written January 2025
Yes, the program includes accommodation in all three destinations: Santiago, Atacama, and Puerto Varas. In total, there are 10 nights of lodging included in the itinerary.

Juan
Traveler•Written January 2025What is the cost of domestic flight that isn't included in the price of the tour, and are all days in February available for this tour?
- Responsible Travel South AmericaOperator•Written January 2025
Domestic flight prices: From SCL (Santiago) to CJC (Calama): starting from $50 USD. From CJC (Calama) to PMC (Puerto Montt): starting from $140 USD. From PMC (Puerto Montt) to SCL (Santiago): starting from $50 USD.

Traveler•Written January 2025Are there options for potentially paying for the tour in installments?
- J
Juan
Traveler•Written January 2025If I book specific dates for the tour before buying flight tickets, how late could I alter these dates or is it not possible at all? Is it our responsibility to buy flights within Chile or can you help us with that?
- Responsible Travel South AmericaOperator•Written January 2025
I can request TourRadar to allow you to split the total cost of your trip into a maximum of two installments. The first payment would be 30% of the total, and the remaining balance would need to be completed at least 15 days before the start of your trip.

Traveler•Written January 2025For a single traveller, do I have to select single room which is $4250, not $2825? Is there an option to select Twin room and be matched with another solo traveler from the group?
- Responsible Travel South AmericaOperator•Written January 2025
I recommend keeping the dates unchanged when you make your booking. All services, including guided tours, will be paid for and confirmed according to the specific dates of your itinerary. If needed, I can assist you by suggesting the best internal flight schedules for you to book on your own.
- Responsible Travel South AmericaOperator•Written January 2025
As you are solo traveler you should select single room which is 4250 USD now. It's not a group departure where everyone starts and finishes together as part of a single group. Instead, each day you'll join different people who may stay in other hotels and have booked through different agencies.

Traveler•Written February 2025Are there any tours similar to the Santiago, San Pedro de Atacama and Puerto Varas that are perhaps shorter and therefore a little cheaper? What is the usual size of the group? Does this tour appear to still be available every day in March?
- Responsible Travel South AmericaOperator•Written February 2025
I'd be happy to create a shorter itinerary that still includes the destinations you're most interested in visiting while making it more budget-friendly.

Asked on October 1st, 2024I'm interested in booking for the tour Santiago, San Pedro de Atacama and Puerto Varas. I'm booking as a solo traveler, I wanted to know if I'm able to share a double room.
- Responsible Travel South AmericaOperator•Written October 2024
Regarding your question, the tours are shared, allowing you to connect with new people during each adventure. However, you'll enjoy the comfort of private rooms at each destination.

Asked on February 4th, 2024Are your trips guaranteed to run or do you have to have a certain amount of people sign up? also, do you do trips to Easter Island as well?
- Responsible Travel South AmericaOperator•Written February 2024
Our tours are guaranteed, we don't need a minimum number of passengers. Yes, we have tours to Easter Island too, when are you planning to visit us? Between 4 and 6 days it's perfect to visit Easter Island. The most important thing to plan the trip to the Island is the flights first we need to secure the flight then we look for the hotel and the tours.

Traveler•Written February 2024I am not sure on the month or year but I'm finding out a lot of trips are not guaranteed and I wanted to make sure to find a tour operator who will run a trip and it not be based on the amount of passengers
- Responsible Travel South AmericaOperator•Written February 2024
We run tours the whole year. The traditional 4nights tour costs 1100 per person including 2 full-day group tours, a basic hotel with breakfast included, entry fee to the national park. You will have a free day to enjoy by the beach and we can include a diving or snorkeling tour for around 100 extra. We can have a hotel upgrade and pay 1300 per person. Remember first you need to check the flights to choose the dates and after that, we can organize the rest of the tour.

Asked on July 18th, 2023How many people are typically on the tour? Would it be possible to add days down in Patagonia at the end of the trip instead of coming back to Santiago? Can you give me the names of the hotels where we would stay so we can look into them or are there hotel options?
- Responsible Travel South AmericaOperator•Written July 2023
Group activities are up to 10 travelers. Yes, it will be possible to add days in Patagonia. We cannot disclose hotel names yet due to availability, but we will make reservations in tourist superior hotel accommodations once the trip is confirmed.

Traveler•Written July 2023Would it be possible to get a quote for the trip if it was just my wife and I instead of the group of 10?

Traveler•Written July 2023Would it be possible to organize a helicopter tour of a glacier while we are down in Patagonia?
- C
Clare
Traveler•Written July 2023We arrive in Santiago late evening on the 16th and leave on December 3rd. We are open to something that extends a day or two in Patagonia-maybe with a glacier visit and something that might highlight santiago or wine country at the end of the trip.
