- RGRebecca· September 12th, 2019This tour was a disaster from start to finish. I had to make several complaints, i had to ask several times for information and itinerary confirmation. I had to complain about 2 hotels i was staying in both of which were stays of 3 days each. I was due to get a bus from San pedro de atacama to arica at 8.30pm, i arrived at the bus station 45 mins before to be told that no buses were going out that evening at all. I was in a cold dark bus station in the middle of nowhere alone and it took some time for this to be organised. I spent another night in atacama, missed the trip to arica and had to spend extra time in Santiago. I was very disappointed by the whole thing... It was badly organised and badly run. The tour was not good value for money and the accommodation was awful. I'm making further complaints.Show moreReceptivo Aborigen Tours commented on this reviewHi Rebecca thanks for your kind review!Trip date: August 2019

Asked on April 17th, 2024I'm interested in booking the Great Atatcama Desert tour to participate in a group travel in Mid August. However, I'm only a solo traveler, and for me it is not clear if this tour will come into being. Can you please give me more information on how a tour will be finalized, and if there are certain conditions to be met, e.g. a minimum number of travelers. I'm also asking because I'd really like to travel in a group for the social experience.
- Receptivo Aborigen ToursOperator•Written April 2024
we can provide this great tour, we have daily departures (guaranteed), and groups might be from 4 to 20 people (the number might change). once your book remains confirmed and reliable. All our guests feel at home and generally have a wonderful social experience.

Traveler•Written April 2024I'm currently looking for a departure on either 10th or 11th of August. If possible, I'd like to travel with a group between 10 and 15 people. Do you already have some confirmed bookings for those departure dates?

Traveler•Written July 2024I'm looking to finally book this tour. I can now depart on either Sunday August 11 or Monday August 12. Can you please let me know which departure date has the bigger group in my age range (30-40 years) at this point in time?
- Receptivo Aborigen ToursOperator•Written July 2024
departure on Aug 11th has 9 pax(age 33-56), on Aug 12th 8pax (age30-50), right now, it might change

Traveler•Written July 2024I just wanted to book for the Aug 12th departure, however I was not able to properly assign my room. It was always required to assign to a private room, this was not clear beforehand as I expected that a room could be shared. That would be a huge price increase of ~50%. Is there a different way to book this tour?
- Receptivo Aborigen ToursOperator•Written July 2024
we already published an additional fare of 1699 u$ for the whole tour for individual in Hostel shared room
