Kathryn· June 4th, 2024The way this company does things is that they have various groups going on different tours with groups coming and going along the way. This does not lead to much camaraderie amongst the travelers . I was the only traveler speaking English out of Madrid and thus was not greeted for welcome tapas /meeting - seemingly a miscommunication ? This company also cancelled my Northern Spain tour after “confirmation “ just weeks prior to me leaving home. This felt much LESS like a guided tour and much MORE LIKE A MODE OF TRANSPORTATION . The guide provided no expected times of departure / arrival / length of tours until pressed for answers . The tour provided only the very basic 3 hr “ highlights “ tour of each city - nothing in depth . ( example visiting craftsman / water tours ) In general Hotels were not in touristic center but rather the central business district ( Cordoba was an exception ) . Seville - 25 min walk to center - may be improved w/ new tram line but for now it’s a bit of a hike . Madrid also was 25 min . From museums etc . The Metro was close so that worked. Guide “ pointed out “ restaurants - with no real recommendations or guidance . Better if he had asked if anyone was interested in a traditional restaurant as a group - & made reservations . Just not up to expectations I have had with other companies such as G Adventures or Intrepid .Show more
