  1. Day 1

    Belgrade

    You'll arrive in Belgrade and head straight into exploring the city's main attractions. Start with Belgrade Fortress, which sits high above the Danube and Sava rivers, then make your way to the Nikola Tesla Museum to learn about the inventor's life and work. Plan to spend the night in Belgrade, giving you time to settle in and grab dinner somewhere in the center.

    Belgrade

    This day focuses on Belgrade's cultural side. You'll visit the National Museum of Serbia to see everything from ancient artifacts to modern art, then walk through the historic center and see Saint Sava Church, one of the largest Orthodox churches in the world. It's a full day of culture, so pace yourself and stay another night in Belgrade.

  3. Day 3

    Belgrade to Pozarevac

    You'll travel from Belgrade to Pozarevac, about an hour east. Once there, check out Smederevo Fortress, a 15th-century stronghold overlooking the Danube, and then visit Viminacium Archaeological Park to see what remains of an ancient Roman city. After exploring both sites, you'll head back to Pozarevac for the night.

  4. Day 4

    Pozarevac

    This day takes you along the Danube to see three remarkable sites. You'll start with Ram Fortress, a medieval stronghold built into the riverbank, then move to Golubac Fortress with its distinctive towers. After that, visit Tumane Monastery tucked into the landscape nearby. By evening you'll return to your accommodation in Pozarevac.

    Pozarevac to Nis

    You'll head south to Nis, stopping first at Manasija Monastery with its defensive walls and intricate frescoes. Later, explore Resavska Cave, a stalactite and stalagmite formation that's quite unusual. Before reaching Nis, you'll visit Ravanica Monastery, then settle in for the night in Nis.

    Nis

    In Nis, you'll see the Mediana Archaeological Site where a Roman villa from the 4th century still stands. Then visit the Skull Tower museum, which preserves a dark piece of local history. Finish with Nis Fortress, a Ottoman-era structure that dominates the city center. You'll stay another night in Nis.

    Kraljevo to Novi Pazar

    Next, you'll head to Novi Pazar and visit three important sites. Start with Zica Monastery, an early medieval church with beautiful frescoes, then check out Maglic Castle ruins. Later, you'll see Studenica Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage site that's considered one of Serbia's most significant medieval monuments. Spend the night in Novi Pazar.

    Novi Pazar

Then see Stari Ras Fortress and St. Peter and Paul Church to round out the day. After everything, you'll return to Novi Pazar for another night.

Stop at the Uvac Molitva viewpoint, a dramatic spot overlooking a horseshoe bend in the river, then visit Mileseva Monastery, known for its white monastery and religious importance. The mountain setting is quite different from the river valleys you've been exploring. Stay overnight in Zlatibor.

    Zlatibor

You'll stay another night in the Zlatibor area.

    Zlatibor to Sarajevo

    You'll start moving toward Bosnia and Herzegovina. First stop is Mokra Gora to ride the Sargan Eight railroad, a scenic narrow-gauge line through mountain territory. From there, continue to Visegrad to cross the UNESCO-listed Mehmed Pasa Sokolovic Bridge and check out Kamengrad, a stone castle complex. By evening you'll arrive in Sarajevo.

    Sarajevo to Mostar

    Today you'll travel from Sarajevo to Mostar with several stops along the way. Ride the Sarajevo Funicular for views of the city, then visit the Tunnel of Hope museum, which tells the story of the siege. You'll cross the Konjic Bridge and eventually reach Mostar to see its famous UNESCO-listed old bridge and historic center. Stay in Mostar for the night.

The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
