- Tristyn· July 3rd, 2025We really enjoyed the itinerary, it was busy for sure but the travel days in between gave us some downtime as we were usually at our next destination by noonish and got the rest of the day to relax. We were with a different group for each day. Most days the tour guides were either good or excellent, and they were almost always on time to pick us up. There was one day in particular (phong nha caves) that we didn’t enjoy because the bus was shabby, the driving was rough, the guide was mediocre, and the lunch was frankly bad. The cave itself was a very cool experience but the rest of the day was just uncomfortable. However, that was only 1 day out of 15 and we were otherwise very happy with the food, transportation, and guides. The accommodations were overall good. The hotels in Hue, Hoi An, and Hanoi were all fantastic but the hotel in Ho Chi Minh City was just okay. The ship we were on for the Ha Long Bay cruise was definitely old but the staff were amazing and the food was out of this world so it made up for it. We found that our contact at Wonderscape wasn’t 100% organized and there were a couple times we were missing information but it only resulted in minor inconveniences. One time a driver failed to show up to pick us up from the airport but the issue got resolved quickly. I know I’ve been highlighting the things that went wrong but overall, we really enjoyed ourselves and felt this was an amazing trip, especially considering the cost. I would 100% recommend this tour to someone who’s on a budget and has the sense of humour to be able to go with the flow, but not to someone who’s expecting luxury or perfection.Show more

Asked on March 25th, 2025Is this tour the same as the 1 offer for $499? Is there any difference besides the dates between the $299 and $499? Can arrangement be made if we would book a return ticket like (Hanoi , Ho chin Min) instead of Hanoi and back from Ho chin Min? Also do our air ticket arrival and departure dates same as tour dates or it has to differ 1 day earlier or later. Last question - do we need visa for US citizen and if do, where do we apply - does tour agent book for us?

The price of $299 is a special offer to celebrate our Silver Operator badge on Tourradar. This price is only available in very limited quantities on certain departure dates. If you want to book a return flight from Hanoi, you will need to take a domestic flight from Ho Chi Minh to Hanoi city. The cost for that will be from $80-$120. You can arrive/departure earlier of later than the tour dates. We will arrange airport transfer for you (included). In addition, you can book the pre/post accommodation yourself or we can arrange it for you with additional cost. Yes you need to apply for a visa. You can apply it yourself in our government's offical website or can choose the visa application by us ($45/person for 30 days single entry visa).

This is because the cost of internal airfare can vary based on a number of factors, such as the time of year, availability of flights, and fuel prices. By separating the internal airfare fee from the main tour cost, Wonderscape Travel is able to offer a more accurate and transparent price for our customers. Additionally, if your trip is cancelled at the last minute due to factors or any reasons, you will not be responsible for paying the internal airfare fee.
