- Day 1
Santiago de Chile to Valparaiso
You'll arrive in Santiago de Chile and then head about 2 hours toward the coast to Valparaiso. On the way, there's a stop at a winery in Casablanca Valley where you'll do some wine tasting before reaching your destination.

- Day 2
Valparaiso
This day focuses on exploring Valparaiso itself. You'll walk through the harbor district and check out Cerro Allegre and Cerro Concepcion hills, which offer different perspectives of the town. One of the highlights is riding one of the famous inclined elevators that connect the lower and upper parts of the city.

Valparaiso to Santiago de Chile
You'll transfer back to Santiago de Chile, and then take a city tour hitting the main sights around the Chilean capital. This gives you a chance to see what the country's largest city has to offer.

Santiago de Chile to San Pedro de Atacama
After heading to the airport, you'll fly to Calama and then transfer with other travelers to San Pedro de Atacama, a small oasis town. Later in the afternoon, you have time to wander around town on your own and get a feel for the place.

- Day 5
San Pedro de Atacama
You'll visit Toconao, a desert oasis, and then move on to Salar de Atacama, a massive salt lake. In the afternoon, you'll head to Moon Valley with the rest of your group, where the landscape feels otherworldly and strange in all the right ways.

San Pedro de Atacama
The day takes you to the Ayllu community of Coyo where you'll learn how Atacamenyo families live, including their farming methods, how they raise animals, and their traditional crafts. Later, you'll join other participants for a unique llama caravan hike through the region using traditional methods.

San Pedro de Atacama
You have the day free to explore on your own. Many people arrange a trip to El Tatio geysers, which can be booked ahead of time or set up once you're in San Pedro de Atacama.

San Pedro de Atacama to Puerto Varas
You'll head to Calama airport in the morning for a flight that goes through Santiago de Chile before reaching the Chilean lake district. You'll land in Puerto Montt and then continue to Puerto Varas, known as the 'City of Roses' because of its location on Lake Llanquihue.

Landmarks Lake Llanquihue - Day 9
Puerto Varas
You'll drive along Lake Llanquihue to Ensenada and enter Vicente Perez Rosales, Chile's oldest national park. Along the way, you'll stop at the Petrohue waterfalls before reaching Todos los Santos Lake for a short walk. After that, you'll go to Las Cascadas to have lunch with a German immigrant family who'll share five generations of their history. In the afternoon, you'll visit Frutillar's open-air museum dedicated to German immigrants.

Frutillar
You'll travel to where the Huilliche people live, who are the southern relatives of the Mapuche. In San Juan de la Costa, you'll learn about local traditions and see the beautiful coastal landscape. Later, you'll hike through an Alerce forest and meet Carlos Paillamanque's family to learn about Huilliche and Mapuche culture and their connection to the rainforest.

Frutillar to Punta Arenas
You'll head to the airport for a flight to Punta Arenas. Once you arrive, you'll transfer to the city center and have the afternoon free to explore the main sights of Punta Arenas on your own.

Punta Arenas to Torres del Paine
Your Patagonia journey begins with a public bus ride through the typical pampas of the Magallanes region, where you'll pass large estancia properties. By the afternoon, you'll reach Torres del Paine National Park.

- Day 13
Torres del Paine National Park to Puerto Natales
You'll spend the day in Torres del Paine National Park doing an intensive hike with your guide to reach the base of the Paine Towers. Other hike options can be arranged for an additional fee if you want something different. Later, you'll take a public bus to Puerto Natales on the Ultima Esperanza Fjord.

Puerto Natales to Santiago de Chile
In the morning, you'll catch the public bus back to Punta Arenas. From there, you'll fly to Santiago de Chile and transfer to your hotel to rest after your travels.
