Itinerary
- Day 1
San Cristóbal
You'll arrive at San Cristóbal airport and get transferred to your hotel to settle in. After dropping your bags, head to the interpretation center where you can learn about the Galápagos islands and their unique ecosystem. Later in the day, take a hike up to Tijeretas Hill. The walk isn't too strenuous, and you'll have good chances of spotting frigate birds nesting in the area.

San Cristóbal
Early morning brings a boat trip out to Kicker Rock. You'll spend the morning snorkeling in the water, and if you're lucky, you might see sharks in the distance. Lunch happens on the boat, so you won't need to worry about finding a restaurant. By afternoon, you'll head to a nearby beach to relax and cool off after the morning's activity.

San Cristóbal
This morning you'll drive to Galapaguera Turtle Reserve to see the turtles up close in their natural habitat. After that, hike down to Puerto Chino's white sand beach and take a swim in the water. In the afternoon, you'll visit La Lobería beach where you can watch the sea lion colony go about their day along the shore.

San Cristóbal
Before sunrise, you'll board a boat heading to Española Island. The morning hike takes you to Suarez Point where you can search for masked boobies and blue-footed boobies that nest there. After working up an appetite, you'll head to a nearby bay for snorkeling to explore what's beneath the surface and see tropical fish and other marine life.

San Cristóbal to Isabela
You'll get picked up early and transferred to the airport for your flight to Isabela Island. After arriving and having lunch, you'll take an afternoon boat trip to Tintoreras. Walking around the area and snorkeling gives you chances to see penguins, marine iguanas, sea lions, and potentially sharks swimming in the shallow waters.

Isabela
Today's a big one. You're climbing Sierra Negra volcano on a 6-hour hike that covers about 15 km of terrain. It's a challenging walk with elevation gain, but the views from the volcanic rim are worth every step. Bring plenty of water and wear good hiking boots for this one.

Isabela to Santa Cruz
Your hotel will arrange an early pickup to get you to the port on time. From there, you'll take a speedboat to Santa Cruz Island. Once you arrive, you'll visit Charles Darwin Station to learn about conservation efforts, and then spend the rest of your time at Tortuga Bay beach, which has clear water and nice sandy shores.

Santa Cruz
A day trip takes you to South Plaza, an uninhabited island with a striking landscape. You'll walk around and see sesuvia plants and gigantic cacti scattered across the terrain. Wildlife here includes sea lions lounging on rocks, land iguanas roaming the island, and various sea birds flying overhead or perched on the ground.
