- Day 1
Seoul
You'll meet your leader and travel companions at 4 pm to kick off your Seoul adventure. Start with a supermarket visit to see what local Koreans actually eat, picking up some regional snacks along the way. Later, you'll head to dinner for Korean fried chicken and beer, then wrap up the evening walking through Gwangjang Market where street food vendors fill the narrow lanes. If you're still hungry after sampling various vendors, there's the option to continue over to Ikseodong for more food exploration.

Seoul to Jeonju
Take the metro to Seoul Station and ride to Jeonju, a city built around the idea of living well and eating well. You'll arrive in time for lunch at a popular noodle restaurant before walking through Hanok Village to see the traditional homes and old cobblestone streets. During a cooking demonstration, you'll learn how to make kimchi and kimchi pancake from scratch. Dinner brings makgeolli (cloudy rice beer) served with traditional side dishes, giving you a real sense of how locals eat and drink together.

Jeonju to Sunchang
After checking out of your hanok stay, you'll move to a hotel. The morning and early afternoon are yours to either wander back through Hanok Village or visit some of the historical shrines and palaces in the area. A bus takes you to Sunchang Gochujang village where you'll see how the traditional red chilli paste is made and taste it fresh. Lunch comes with traditional side dishes, then you'll walk around Mt Gangcheon and stop at a nearby waterfall. For dinner, you'll head back to Jeonju to eat at the famous bibimbap restaurant, and their bibimbap is recognized as an intangible cultural asset.

Sunchang to Gyeongju
Start the day with kongnamul gukbap (soybean and sprout soup) before traveling to Gyeongju. At lunch you'll have soondubu, a spicy tofu stew that warms you up nicely. Next, you'll visit a 7th century temple where a resident monk shares about Buddhist philosophy over tea. Back in Gyeongju, you'll check out Daeneungwon Ancient Tomb and Cheonsungdae Observatory. The evening is relaxed, so you might wander through Hwanglidangil or take a walk out to Woljeong Hanok bridge.

Gyeongju to Busan
Travel to Busan and start at Haedong Temple, an impressive structure built right into the rocks along the coast. You'll head to a cooking class where you'll prepare dishes for your lunch. Later, you'll go to Haeundae Beach to see the white sand with tall buildings in the distance. Your afternoon is flexible, so you can choose between a yacht sightseeing trip, relaxing at a Jjimjilbang (Korean sauna), or catching a local baseball game if there's one happening. You'll all meet up again for dinner featuring Korean-style lamb skewers cooked on specialized grills that rotate themselves at the table.

Busan
You've got a free morning in Busan to rest or explore on your own. Later you'll visit Jagalchi Market, a sprawling seafood market right by the port. Head to a beachfront restaurant for a clam bake with views of the water. After that meal, you can choose your own path for the evening: take an optional walk to one of Busan's lighthouses (there are over 100 around the city), explore Gamcheon village for colorful photo opportunities and souvenirs, or finish with noraebang where you and friends can sing together in private rooms.

Your final meal happens in Hongdae district where the group gathers for an authentic Korean BBQ celebration dinner to mark the end of your food-focused journey.
