Itinerary
- Day 1
Zanzibar
You'll arrive at Zanzibar airport or seaport where a representative meets you for the transfer to Tembo House Hotel in Stone Town. After checking in and grabbing lunch on your own, a guided tour takes you through Stone Town's winding streets and historic sites. The day wraps up at African House Hotel where you can watch the sunset from the rooftop before heading back to your hotel for the night.

- Day 2
Jozani Forest
An early start at 08:00-08:30 gets you to Minai Bay Marine Reserve in Kizimkazi for dolphin interactions and snorkeling. Snorkeling gear is provided at the starting point, so you're all set to explore the marine life. You'll break for lunch, then head inland to Jozani Forest where you can spot the endemic red colobus monkeys before returning to Stone Town later in the day.

Matemwe Beach
After breakfast, you depart at 09:00 aboard a traditional wooden dhow headed to Prison Island. The island itself has significant historical weight as a former slave trade site and quarantine location, and you'll see the rare Giant Aldabra tortoises there. Lunch on the island is optional, then you sail back to Stone Town. By late afternoon, you transfer to Matemwe Beach and settle into Sunshine Hotel Zanzibar.

You have the full day to yourself at Sunshine Hotel on Matemwe Beach. Swim in the warm Indian Ocean, walk out to the reef from the beach, or arrange optional activities through the hotel like scuba diving at Mnemba Island or deep sea fishing with local fishermen if you're interested in something more active.
