- Day 1
Bogota
Start your morning in La Candelaria, Bogota's historic core, walking through Plaza de Bolivar to see Casa de Nariño and Chorro de Quevedo. You'll spend a couple hours checking out two major museums that showcase Colombia's heritage and history. After lunch with traditional coffee and local fruits, head up to Monserrate via cable car for views across the city, then visit the basilica and walk around the natural areas nearby. The afternoon is yours to wander around on your own and see what else catches your interest.

- Day 2
Zipaquira - Guatavita - Bogota
Travel north from Bogota to Zipaquira and head underground into the Salt Cathedral, walking through tunnels to see the world's only underground Catholic church carved directly into a salt mine. Learn about the site's history and religious importance while you're there. From there, continue to Guatavita and hike into the natural park to reach the lagoon, tied to the El Dorado legend. You'll grab traditional lunch during the day and make it back to Bogota by evening.

Salento
Head to Salento and the Cocora Valley to hike through the region where Colombia's national tree, the wax palm, grows naturally. You'll visit a working coffee farm to see the entire production cycle from planting through roasting, pick coffee cherries yourself, and join a tasting session with baristas.
