Itinerary
- Day 1
Salalah
Start by heading to the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque to see the detailed tilework and architecture. After that, stop by some local garden farms where you can see coconut, banana, and papaya growing. Then it's off to Al Baleed, a UNESCO World Heritage site where the Museum of the Frankincense Land has a collection of archaeological finds from the region's trading history. Next, spend some time at Al Haffa Souq to browse frankincense and traditional crafts. End the day with a photo stop at Al Husn Palace before heading back.

Taqah - Wadi Darbat - Sumhuram
Begin at Ain Razat's natural springs, then drive to Taqah, an old coastal town with a castle full of antique items. From there, head to Wadi Darbat natural park where you'll see waterfalls, camels, mountains, and caves (monsoon season brings even more water flow and greenery). After exploring the landscape, finish at Sumhuram in Khor Rori, an ancient frankincense trading center and UNESCO World Heritage site with an archaeological museum on the grounds.

Nabi Ayoub - Al Mughsail Beach
Start the morning at Ain Garziz spring, then drive to Nabi Ayoub (Prophet Job's Tomb), one of the region's most popular sites with nice mountain views surrounding it. Stop at a scenic viewpoint to take photos and see the landscape. Later, head to Al Mughsail Beach to see the blowholes, where seawater shoots up through underground channels in geyser-like bursts when waves hit the right way.
