- Day 1
Entebbe to Murchison Falls National Park
You'll arrive at Entebbe Airport where your guide meets you and gives you the rundown of your 6-day journey. From there, head toward Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary in Nakasongola for a game walk with a ranger who'll help you spot rhinos. Continue on to Murchison Falls National Park in northwest Uganda, which sits on Lake Albert's shore where the Victoria Nile River forces through a narrow channel before dropping over a massive falls.

Murchison Falls National Park
After breakfast early on, you'll head out for a morning game drive through Murchison Falls to look for giraffes, lions, elephants, Uganda Kobs, and birds. Following lunch, take a boat trip up the Victoria Nile to see Murchison Falls where the river squeezes through just 7 meters wide and drops 43 meters into Lake Albert. Watch for hippos, crocodiles, and different bird species like fish eagles, kingfishers, herons, and the rare shoebill stork.

Murchison Falls to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Once you've had breakfast, it's a long drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of Uganda's most well-known parks. The setting includes rift valley floor terrain with surrounding lakes, escarpments, and the snow-capped Rwenzori Mountain in the distance. You'll see buffalos, lions, waterbuck, leopards, Uganda Kob, and warthogs during the drive as you head toward your lodge in the evening.

Chimpanzee Tracking and Kazinga Channel
Morning takes you to Kibale National Park for chimpanzee tracking, where you can watch them play, swing through trees, and interact in their natural habitat. The forest has one of the highest concentrations of primates around, with lots of endangered chimpanzees and rare monkey species. In the afternoon, cruise along the Kazinga Channel, a 32-kilometer waterway connecting Lake Edward and Lake George, where you'll spot massive numbers of hippos and Nile crocodiles plus other wildlife.

Queen Elizabeth National Park
After a leisurely breakfast, take a game drive through Queen Elizabeth National Park to search for lions, elephants, and buffaloes from the Big Five, along with giraffes, warthogs, and various bird species you might spot.

Queen Elizabeth National Park to Entebbe
Following a relaxing breakfast, check out of your lodge and drive back to Entebbe using the Mbarara-Masaka road. On the way, stop at the Uganda Equator location for lunch and grab a photo at this geographical landmark before heading home.
