Itinerary
- Day 1
Cape Town
You'll arrive at Cape Town International Airport and get transferred to your hotel at the Waterfront. The rest of the day is yours to wander around the Mother City at whatever pace works for you. Later in the evening, you'll meet your guide and group in the hotel lobby for a briefing before the journey starts.

- Day 2
Cape Peninsula
This is a full day on the Cape Peninsula. You'll travel along the Atlantic seaboard through Hout Bay and Chapman's Peak Drive to reach Table Mountain National Park and Cape Point, then head back along the Indian Ocean coastline. There's an optional cable car ride up Table Mountain if the weather cooperates (costs extra). By evening you'll be free to check out the Waterfront's bars and restaurants.

- Day 3
Cape Town to Namaqualand
Your overland journey starts today heading north through Namaqualand. The region can be quite beautiful, especially between August and October when the wild flowers are blooming and the landscape fills with color.

- Day 4
Namaqualand to Augrabies Falls National Park
You'll leave Namaqualand and drive north to Augrabies Falls National Park. On the way you'll pass through lush oasis areas with wine farms. After arriving, you'll explore the Orange River as it drops 56 metres down into the gorge (the local name 'Aukoerebis' translates to 'place of great noise'). The afternoon is spent viewing the falls from different viewpoints.

Augrabies Falls to Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park
Heading north again, you'll reach Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park in the Kalahari. Your camp sits 35 km south in South Africa's red Kalahari dunes. When you arrive, you'll do a two-hour guided walk through the dunes where you might see meerkats and learn about local geology and wildlife. The next full day includes a game drive through the park in the overland vehicle.

Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park to Fish River Canyon
You'll head west and cross into Namibia, then set up camp at Fish River Canyon. From there you can walk along the canyon rim and watch the sunset change colors across the landscape.

- Days 8 - 9
Fish River Canyon to Sesriem
After traveling through changing scenery, you'll camp on the edge of the Namib Desert. Early the next morning you'll head to Sossusvlei, stopping to see how the light plays across the world's highest sand dunes. There's a leisurely 5km guided walk to Sossusvlei and Deadvlei, then in the afternoon you'll do a short hike through Sesriem Canyon.

- Day 10
Sesriem to Swakopmund
You'll drive north to the coast at Walvis Bay for lunch and flamingo viewing. Then it's on to Swakopmund, a charming town with German colonial architecture. You'll have the afternoon and next morning free to explore on your own or book optional activities like dolphin cruises or scenic flights over the Namib (at your own expense).

- Day 11
Swakopmund to Spitzkoppe Mountains
After lunch in Swakopmund, you'll head out and set up camp among the boulders of Spitzkoppe Mountains. The afternoon is free to walk around the remote bushcamp area and take in the surroundings.

- Days 12 - 13
Spitzkoppe Mountains to Etosha National Park
You'll drive to Etosha National Park, one of Africa's most important game reserves with blue wildebeest, springbok, zebra, kudu, giraffe, cheetah, leopard, lion and elephant. Camp is just outside the park with an afternoon game drive. The next day you'll have breakfast, then drive through to the Eastern sector stopping at Etosha Pan before lunch at the new campsite inside the park. An afternoon game drive follows in the Eastern area.

Etosha National Park to Rundu
From Etosha you'll travel to Rundu on the banks of the Okavango River. Your camp sits among lush vegetation overlooking the water.

- Days 15 - 16
Rundu to Okavango Delta
You'll head into the Caprivi and cross into Botswana to camp on the edge of the Okavango Delta. The next day brings mokoro and boat trips through the back channels of Nxamasire, plus game walks on the smaller islands (depending on water levels).

Okavango Delta to Chobe National Park
You'll travel through Namibia's Caprivi Strip, then cross into Botswana through Chobe National Park to camp on the Chobe River banks. The following morning includes a game drive through Chobe National Park, then you'll enjoy a sunset game viewing cruise on the river.

- Day 19
Chobe River to Victoria Falls
Crossing into Zimbabwe, you'll reach Victoria Falls, known as Africa's adrenalin capital. The afternoon is free to visit the falls and try optional activities like helicopter rides or visits to Livingstone Island (costs extra).
