Itinerary
- Day 1
Florence to Siena
You'll arrive at Florence Airport and get transferred to your hotel to settle in. After checking in, your driver will meet you for a guided tour heading to Siena. There you'll walk through medieval streets and see Palazzo Salimbeni, then check out Piazza del Campo where the famous Palio horse race happens. The Cathedral there has a beautiful colorful marble exterior worth seeing. By evening you'll head back to Florence.

Florence
Following breakfast, you and a local guide will explore Florence's backstreets and main areas including Piazza del Duomo, Ponte Vecchio, and Piazza Della Signoria. Later you'll have time for lunch on your own. In the afternoon, you'll visit traditional local shops starting with a jewelry store featuring Florentine goldsmith work, then the San Lorenzo leather market, and finish at an old perfume workshop that uses medieval recipes.

Florence to Venice via Verona
After breakfast, you'll head toward Venice with a stop in Verona. There you'll see the ancient Roman Arena (built around 30 AD), check out Maria Callas' former home, and visit Juliet's House. Lunch is around Piazza Bra before you continue to Venice. Once there, a guide will walk you through major sites like Doge's Palace, Campanile, Clock Tower, and the Library. You'll then wander back alleys and canals, ending at Rialto Bridge before returning to your hotel.

Murano and Burano
After hotel breakfast, you'll take a boat across the Venetian Lagoon to Murano where craftsmen demonstrate glass-blowing and you can browse the factory showroom. From there, another boat takes you to Burano for walking and shopping. Back in Venice, the rest of the evening is free for you to spend as you like.

Venice to Milan via Sirmione
Following a buffet breakfast and checkout, you'll drive to Sirmione on Lake Garda. You'll explore Scala Castle from the 13th century, see the Parish Church of S. Maria with its artwork, and visit the 8th-century S. Salvatore Church. The park surrounding Villa Cortine is worth a look, and you'll also see Maria Callas' Villa. Then it's on to Grotte di Catullo to see Roman Villa ruins. After that you'll drive to Milan for check-in.
