- David· June 1st, 2024The trip was very varied and perfectly organized. The itinerary goes through 3 countries and covers almost 4,000 km. This means that on some days we drove for many hours and set off early. Even on these long days, regular breaks were taken and there was always something exciting to observe. On the last day (according to the program) we were supposed to reach the airport at around 17h00 and the official end was 18h00. We had therefore opted for a flight at 23:00 instead of 19:00. Other guests had flights at 19:00 and we arrived at the airport at 15:00. The airport has a lot of "local" stores, so the time passed quickly. The tour guides are impressive and have a broad and detailed knowledge of the different countries, cultures, wildlife, nature, astronomy... In addition, they have excellent organizational skills, are safe drivers and can conjure up really good menus with the mobile kitchen. We were completely satisfied with the tour and our expectations were exceeded. The tour is highly recommended for nature and animal lovers looking for a little adventure.Show more
- Viola· October 19th, 2024Our trip to Namibia was a unique experience, accompanied by our great guide Phinahas, who gave us many impressions of the country, the wildlife and the plants in a diplomatic and competent manner. Phinahas deserves 4 stars for his guidance and commitment!Show more

Asked on July 20th, 2025When is the best time to travel to see animals in the Okavango Delta? If travelling alone, do I need to share the tent with someone? Do I have to build and pack the tent every day? At what time do you usually start the day?
- DIAMIR ErlebnisreisenOperator•Written July 2025
Generally you can book a SGL tent but you can also share a tent with another female traveller. Yes, you have to build and pack tent everyday except the nights when you dont sleep in a tent. Days start early due to the distances, normally around 6h00 -8 h00depending on the routing. Dry season is from May to October: Wildlife gathers around remaining water resources, against starkly beautiful landscapes. There is little to no rainfall during the entire winter and humidity is low.
