- samuel· May 4th, 2022A wonderful tour in Egypt It's called Egypt Love Tour Package, a wonderful one operated by this company, the tour was amazing, every part I want to do it again, the cairo part is wonderful also nile cruise part is awesome the only thing is that the train takes 12 hours from cairo to aswan but the company has nothing to do with that but the railway of Egypt need to be faster, the nile cruise was wonderful with our wonderful knowledgeable guide Ahmed, it's a highly recommended tour with a very budget price and also it allows you to visit most of important sites in Egypt. Trip date: April 2022 - Dimitris· May 2nd, 2022Overall the tour was okay. The Luxor-Aswan part was very good with an extremely knowledgeable about ancient Egyptian history guide but the Cairo part was quite poor. 1) The Cairo part of the tour is organized in such a way that is a lot of time left for other activities for which they charge you uncontrollably extra, on top of the tips required by everyone. Everybody wants to get a share of your wallet so they propose activities through their own people (for example for a camel ride) and they charge you even more than what would be a “normal” price for that. There is a large amount of different drivers and also different guides who of course want to be tipped separately. 2) I would not recommend the overnight train option that this tour provides as it may be cheap but the train and the train stations are not tourist friendly and you may feel endangered. Moreover, the train is not a sleeper train with a bed (which costs an additional $80 per person per route) but a normal train and you get a normal seat for a 12/14-hour travel. Therefore, if you are opting for the sleeper train it is preferable to take a domestic flight to Luxor or Aswan which may cost same or lower price and it may save you huge amount of time and hassle at the egyptian trains. 3) the accommodations chosen by the agency were not very good. The 3-star hotel is located in a sketchy neighborhood and the 5-star cruise boat was not as good as others. What is more, the itinerary changed without being notified earlier and instead of Luxor to Aswan, we went from Aswan to Luxor. The latter was not a big issue of course but in combination with the rest gave us a bad impression. Overall I would not recommend this tour.Show moreTrip date: April 2022
