- JEJoy· June 22nd, 2024My husband and I are 2 months into a 5 month trip around the world. I can honestly say that our 3 day Tuk Tuk tour with our wonderful guide "Big" has been the best part of it so far! It was a dream come true for my husband to drive a Tuk Tuk, while I languished in the back enjoying the incredible scenery. We loved everything we did and everyone we met. The hikes were a perfect length for us and the temples and villages we visited were fascinating, it was so lovely to experience rural Thailand after being in Bangkok. The food provided was amazing too, plentiful and tasty. I would (and will) heartily recommend Tuk Tuk Tours to anyone visiting Thailand.Show moreTrip date: June 2024

- DDebbieBrown· September 3rd, 2019We had a fantastic time with the Tuk Tuk Club. My whole family (14 of us) came over from Scotland to spend a month in Thailand and this was definitely the highlight. Such a unique experience that most cannot say they have done. Driving though the local villages, stopping off the beaten track. A must for anyone that wants to do something a little different.Show moreThe Tuk Tuk Club commented on this reviewMany thanks Debbie and a pleasure to have helped you all have a superb adventure. Hope we see you again sometime up here in wonderful Northern ThailandTrip date: December 2018
- Rachel· September 3rd, 2019The best thing we did in Thailand! We loved everything about the tour. The whole thing felt as if it was custom made just for us. We were 2 adults and an 8 year old who complained about bring bored often on the rest of our trip but never during our 3 day tuk tuk adventure. Ken, our guide, was exceptional and made us feel like old friends visiting his village. Even our driver, who brought us to the tuk tuk and then back to chiang mai, Mr Big, was so lovely. The whole experience from pick up to drop off was both professional and personal. Just perfect.Show moreThe Tuk Tuk Club commented on this reviewThanks Rachel - it was a pleasure having you and your family with us for your 3 day adventure and we hope you can join us again one day in the future. Asked on May 25th, 2024How much extra would it cost for me to sleep on my own and not share
- The Tuk Tuk ClubOperator•Written May 2024
Our 3 Day Adventure is actually a private adventure so it would be just you on the trip and you wouldn't have to share with anyone, but the price of this trip is based on a minimum of 2 participants so it would be £658 if travelling this year, or £798 in 2025.

Asked on May 6th, 2024could you please tell me if this trip is suitable for a fat, unfit 55 year old woman please. I will be travelling with my 21 year old son and dont want to embarrass him
- The Tuk Tuk ClubOperator•Written May 2024
Don't worry - you don't have to be very fit at all to do this trip and I'm sure you wouldn't embarrass your son. The only significant walking is on Day 3 when you'd do a hike in the foothills of Doi Inthanon (Thailand's highest mountain) but even that isn't super strenuous - it's around 6km but taken at a very leisurely pace and other than a little bit of uphill at the beginning (and nothing steep) the rest is flat or downhill. And it's about enjoying the forest and waterfalls rather than rushing along so I'm sure you'd be fine

Traveler•Written May 2024Thank you so much that's put my mind at rest , I have been looking at a trip in February
- The Tuk Tuk ClubOperator•Written May 2024
We've had people in their late 70's and even into their early 80's join us for the 3 Day Adventure and they've coped no problems at all. And, of course, we always go at a pace to suit those travelling with us - the last thing we'd want is for anyone to be embarrassed or tired on a trip when you're meant to be having fun

Asked on March 22nd, 2019Do we really drive a Tuk Tuk?
- The Tuk Tuk ClubOperator•Written March 2019
Yes, you do! Tuk Tuks are a cross between a motorbike (the accelerator is controlled with your right hand) and a car (clutch and brake with your feet) and all are manual (stick shift). You will have a thorough and detailed training period on every trip run by very experienced trainers who are extremely good at taking you to step by step through to getting you on the road with confidence.

Asked on March 22nd, 2019What driving licence do I need?
- The Tuk Tuk ClubOperator•Written March 2019
You will need a full driving licence from your home country that allows you to drive manual (stick shift) cars. Secondly, you may need to obtain an International Driving Permit which is usually very quick and easy but the process is different in different countries – to bring along to compliment your driver's licence.
