Windhoek
You'll arrive at Windhoek Hosea Kutako International Airport where your HT Agency Tours guide meets you. They'll help with customs, set up currency exchange, and get a local SIM card with internet sorted. After that, it's a private transfer to your hotel where you can settle in by the pool and try some local food.

Windhoek to Fish River Canyon
Following breakfast, you'll drive toward Fish River Canyon and reach the lodge in time for a sunset sundowner drive or optional walk around the area. The next morning starts with the Mesosaurus Fossil Site to see rare quiver trees, then you'll spend time exploring Fish River Canyon itself, the second largest in the world. The canyon landscapes give you plenty of photo opportunities throughout the day.

Fish River Canyon to Namib Desert
You're heading to the Namib Desert and Sossusvlei today, checking into Hoodia Desert Lodge on the banks of the Tsauchab River with mountains surrounding you. The famous red sand dunes of Sossusvlei are just 20 minutes away through Sesriem Gate. You can explore the largest dunes in Namibia, visit Deadvlei, and if you're up for it, climb Dune 45 or Big Daddy for great views. The afternoon is yours for relaxing by the pool or doing other activities.

Namib Desert to Swakopmund
Today you're moving from desert to sea, crossing the Tropic of Capricorn and passing through the Gaub and Kuiseb passes. You'll drive through a dry river bed at the canyon bottom and climb back out the other side, watching the landscape shift around you. There's a stop in Walvis Bay to see flamingos and birds in the lagoons before lunch, then you're in Swakopmund for the night. Day 7 is free to walk around this quaint coastal town with optional activities available.

Swakopmund to Etendeka Concession
You'll head to the Grootberg massif in the private 400 square kilometer Etendeka Concession and spend two days exploring in open game drive vehicles with a knowledgeable guide. Guided walking safaris give you a different way to see the bush, or you can climb a nearby hill for sundowners with views. You're staying in simple tents with open-air bucket showers at Etendeka Mountain Camp with personalized service.

Etendeka to Opuwo and Epupa Falls
After breakfast you'll drive north northwest about 720 km to Opuwo, capital of the Kunene Region. Here you'll meet the Himba People, a semi-nomadic pastoral community, and learn about their traditional homes, way of life, and how cattle wealth shapes their culture. Day 11 takes you through northern Kaokoveld to Epupa Falls for a day visit, one of Namibia's most dramatic regions, with more time to spend with Himba communities before heading back.

Opuwo to Etosha National Park
Leaving Opuwo after breakfast, you'll drive to Etosha National Park, passing through small villages along the way. Morning and evening game drives are led by experienced guides who adjust routes based on what you want to see. You'll stay at Onguma The Fort, which has air conditioned suites, indoor/outdoor showers, wooden decks overlooking a waterhole, and both sheltered and open air dining areas plus a lantern lit pool.

Etosha National Park
You'll do morning and afternoon game drives in Etosha National Park and visit the Ongava Research Centre to learn about local wildlife. There's also the option to drive Ongava Reserve or do nature walks, plus you can use the sunken hide at the waterhole in front of camp for wildlife viewing. The Namibian night sky is available for exploring in the evening.

Etosha to Damaraland
Departing toward Brandberg Damaraland, one of Namibia's most notable places where you'll see elephants, giraffes, ostriches, and antelope. You'll visit Twyfelfontein Rock Engravings at Aba Huab Valley's head, where roughly 2,500 ancient engravings show animals no longer in the area like elephants, giraffes, lions, and rhinos. This UNESCO World Heritage Site was Namibia's first. You can also check out Risosib Ravine and Phillips Cave for humpbacked white elephant paintings, with optional Spitzkoppe visits for serious hikers only.

Damaraland to Windhoek
You're heading back to Windhoek today on a long scenic drive. You'll pass through towns and rural areas with a stop in Okahandja, home to Namibia's largest wood carving market where local cooperatives sell authentic Namibian souvenirs. You'll arrive at your Windhoek accommodation in the afternoon, dropping off before 16:00 unless you've made other arrangements beforehand.
