Kilimanjaro Airport
You'll land at Kilimanjaro Airport and begin your Tanzanian adventure. Get through arrivals and prepare for the journey ahead.
Landmarks Kilimanjaro Airport - Day 2
Arusha
Your guide meets you at the airport for the transfer to a lodge built on a former coffee farm. After settling in with some refreshments, you'll take a guided walk through the rainforest, cool off by the pool, and meet the other travelers over dinner.

Landmarks Mount Kilimanjaro - Day 3
Arusha to Karatu
Following breakfast, you head to local coffee plantations around Mount Meru to learn how high-quality Arabica coffee grows and gets roasted. Lunch happens back at the lodge, then you travel to Karatu for an afternoon swim in an infinity pool with views of the surrounding landscape.

Landmarks Mount Meru - Day 4
Ngorongoro Crater
Early morning takes you to the Ngorongoro Crater where around 25,000 mammals roam including elephants, buffalo, lions, and black rhinos. You'll have a picnic lunch on the crater rim, then head to Olduvai for a sunset walk with a Maasai guide who explains the local wilderness.

Landmarks Ngorongoro Crater Olduvai Gorge - Day 5
Serengeti
The Serengeti opens up before you with savannahs, wooded hills, and various landscapes. Your first game drive starts after settling in at the lodge, which borders the park to the southwest. Lunch happens at Ronjo Camp while you watch wildlife around you.

Landmarks Serengeti National Park - Day 6
Grumeti Hills
Before sunrise, you head out on a bush walk with a guide and ranger for close wildlife viewing. Bush breakfast waits for you on the banks of the Grumeti River. The afternoon is yours to relax by the pool or get a massage, then an early dinner comes before a night game drive in an open vehicle to spot nocturnal animals.

Landmarks Grumeti River - Day 7
North Serengeti - Mara River
You travel north to the Mara River area along Serengeti's far border. If conditions align, you might see the wildebeest migration crossing the river while crocodiles hunt below. Your accommodation overlooks the river, so keep your camera ready for dramatic moments.

Mara River
Another safari takes you back to the Mara River to observe lions, leopards, and crocodiles sunbathing on sandbanks. With good fortune, you could spot one of the roughly 300 cheetahs living in the Serengeti, the fastest cats in the wild.

Serengeti to Arusha
Your final game drive heads to Kogatende Airstrip in the heart of the park for one last wildlife experience. You'll fly back to Arusha, then stop for lunch at Arusha Coffee Lodge on one of Tanzania's largest plantations before heading to Kilimanjaro Airport for your flight home.
