I wish I had gone 5 years ago when I had a little more energy, but it was all very exciting. Our tour director could not have been more knowlegable or enthusiastic. The group traveling was diverse and very interesting. The staff was friendly, helpful and very good at their jobs. Most days will have wake-ups of around 8am (+ or - a little bit), but the only days with very early wake ups will be on Day 2 when the group takes the plane from Quito to the Galapagos. Flight times can vary between 6:40am-9:40am departures which will require a very early morning to get to the airport.

Airport transfers in Quito are not included in the price of the trip, but can be added on as an extra, or you can take a taxi. Transfers are included to and from the boat on Galapagos Islands. The cost for the cost tour accommodation in Quito would be USD115 for a single room or USD130 for a double/twin room.
