We came back with an amazing experience of Vietnam and Cambodia. We spent nine days in Vietnam: three nights in Hanoi-Halong Bay, three nights in Hoi An, and three nights in Ho Chi Minh City. All our local tour operators and tour guides were very informative and professional and had excellent communication skills and manners. Also, in Cambodia, we enjoyed visiting Angkor Wat and floating village and lake tours. Again, our tour operator and tour guides were excellent, very polite, and accommodating. In Phuket especially our optional tour of Phi Phi Island that we booked through TourRadar was not that great when it came to safety. We were in speed boat- some 40-45 passengers with 45 minutes of boat ride in the ocean, and the boat operator didn't offfer life jacket. So we were all without life jackets. Also, the taxi driver who picked us up at the airport was driving like a meniac. However, you still join the sharing cruise on HaLong Bay. The cruise has typically 20 cabins. In Hanoi, I suggest a day tour to Hoa Lu – Tam Coc in Ninh Binh, which offers beautiful scenery and cultural insights. As for Hoi An, I think it's best to keep the extra day free for leisure, allowing you time to explore and enjoy the charm of the town at your own pace.
