- Day 1
Hanoi
You'll arrive in Hanoi at your own pace, and your Legend Travel Group driver will be waiting to pick you up at the airport and take you to your hotel. Once you check in, the day is open for you to either rest and settle in or wander around the city on your own schedule.

Hanoi
After breakfast, your guide will take you through Hanoi's main landmarks starting with Tran Quoc Pagoda on Golden Fish Island, then move to the Ho Chi Minh complex and One Pillar Pagoda. You'll visit the Vietnam Ethnology Museum next, then grab lunch at a local restaurant before heading to Temple of Literature and Hoa Lo Prison. You'll wrap up by returning to your hotel in the late afternoon.

Hanoi to Halong Bay
After breakfast, you'll drive about 3.5 hours south through the countryside to reach Halong City. From there, you board an authentic Chinese junk and start cruising through Halong Bay (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), checking out Surprise Cave and swimming in the water. The boat anchors for the night and you'll have dinner onboard with the option to either relax under the stars or take a swim in the phosphorescent water if conditions allow.

Halong Bay to Hoi An
You'll get up early to catch the sunrise from the boat, have breakfast onboard, then cruise through the thousands of islands that fill Halong Bay. During the morning, you'll stop at a floating fishing village to see how locals live and work on the water. Lunch is served aboard as the junk heads back to Halong City, getting you back around 3:30 to 4:00 pm. After that, you'll fly to Hoi An and check into your hotel for the evening, with time to explore the ancient town.

Hoi An
You'll spend the full day in Hoi An, the old town once called Faifo by early Western traders. Your day includes visiting a temple with gilded statues showing Chinese and Japanese design, a pagoda built to honor sailors and fishermen, and a chapel dating back to the 1700s. Later you'll see the Sa Huynh Museum near the famous Japanese Covered Bridge, then take a boat to Kim Bong Village on Cam Kim Island to watch craftspeople doing traditional woodworking and shipbuilding. The afternoon is yours to explore the ancient town and wander at your own pace.

Hoi An
Your guide meets you at 8:00 am and you'll bike 3km out to Tra Que Vegetable Village through quiet countryside. At an organic garden, you'll learn how local farmers work the soil and grow vegetables, then get a 15-minute herbal foot massage. After that comes a cooking class where you'll prepare Tam Huu Spring Rolls and Banh Xeo Pancakes with a local family, then eat lunch together. You'll have free time before 3:30 pm to explore Hoi An or head out to Cua Dai Beach (about 4km away) before heading back to your hotel.

You'll have breakfast at your hotel and the morning is free to relax or do some shopping in Hoi An. Later in the day, you transfer to the airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Once you land, your driver picks you up and takes you to your hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is open for you to explore the city, visit the War Remnants Museum or Independence Palace, walk through local markets, or just relax at your hotel.

Ho Chi Minh City
After breakfast, your guide takes you around Ho Chi Minh City to see the main sights, starting with the neo-Romanesque Notre Dame Cathedral, then the historic Central Post Office (designed by Gustave Eiffel), and the Reunification Palace. After lunch at a local restaurant, you'll head out to Cu Chi Tunnels, the famous complex of tunnels stretching over 200km that were critical during the Vietnam War. You'll explore the tunnel system, learn about what conditions were like for soldiers, try basic wartime food, and go inside to experience the layout firsthand. You'll be back at your hotel by evening.

Ho Chi Minh City to My Tho
After breakfast, your guide picks you up at 8:00 am for the drive to My Tho, the capital of Tien Giang Province on the Mekong River (about 75km southeast of Ho Chi Minh City). You'll explore one or two islands known for traditional crafts like coconut candy and bee operations. Then you'll visit Vinh Trang Pagoda, the oldest in the Mekong Delta, which sits surrounded by beautiful gardens. A boat trip along the Mekong gets you to the pagoda. By evening, you return to Ho Chi Minh City to check in at your hotel for the night.

Ho Chi Minh City to Siem Reap
After breakfast, you transfer to the airport and fly to Siem Reap, landing around noon. Your guide and driver will meet you and take you straight to the Angkor Complex. Your first stop is Angkor Thom, a fortified city covering 10 square km and surrounded by walls and moats. You enter through the South Gate over a causeway lined with stone demons and gods, then explore the Terrace of Elephants and Terrace of Leper Kings. From there, you'll check out the damaged Baphuon, the Royal Enclosure, and Phimeanakas before heading to Bayon Temple with its famous stone faces. You'll end your day watching the sunset from a temple overlooking the Cambodian countryside, then return to your hotel to check in and settle in for the night.

Siem Reap
After breakfast, you start your tour of the Angkor temples with Angkor Wat, the main Khmer architectural masterpiece and Cambodia's national symbol. You'll cross a massive moat and causeway lined with naga sculptures, then climb through galleries and courtyards up to the central sanctuary with its views. Inside you'll see the 1,700 Apsaras celestial dancers carved into the walls and the world's longest continuous bas-relief. Next is Ta Prohm with its jungle-covered appearance, then Banteay Srei with its exquisite pink sandstone carvings. You'll also visit Takeo, Thommanon, Chau Say Tevoda, and go back through Ta Prohm to explore more before returning to your hotel.

Siem Reap to Bangkok
After breakfast, you'll have free time to explore around your area or hang out at the hotel until your airport transfer. You fly to Bangkok and when you land, your Legend Travel Group representative picks you up and drives you to your hotel for check-in. The drive from the airport to your hotel is roughly 32km and takes around 45 minutes depending on traffic. Once you settle into your room, you're ready to begin your Bangkok experience.

Bangkok
After breakfast, you'll go on a sightseeing tour of Bangkok's most famous temples. First up is Wat Traimit, the Temple of the Golden Buddha, where you'll see a solid gold Buddha statue that's over 900 years old and weighs 5.5 tons. Next is Wat Arun, the Temple of Dawn, one of Bangkok's best known landmarks and most photographed temples. Then you head to Wat Po, Bangkok's largest and oldest temple, home to the Reclining Buddha and recognized as the birthplace of traditional Thai massage. You return to your hotel and the afternoon is free for you to do as you like.

After breakfast, you transfer to the airport for your flight to Phuket. Your guide meets you when you land and takes you to your hotel to check in and rest. Later in the day, you'll take a sightseeing tour around Phuket City. You drive along the beach roads through Patong, Karon, Kata, and Rawai, stopping at View Point for panoramic views. You'll see the Sino-Portuguese buildings in Phuket town, check out Wang Thalang Lapidary gem factory, visit Wat Chalong monastery, the Gypsy Village at Rawai Beach, and a cashew nut factory. You'll end the day at Phromthep Cape to watch the sunset, one of the island's most beautiful spots.

After breakfast, you transfer to the pier and board a boat heading to Phi Phi Island. You'll explore Phi Phi Ley Island to take in the scenery, then go to Long Beach on Phi Phi Don Island where you switch to a small boat for snorkeling in the clear water full of marine life. Back at Long Beach, you'll have a buffet lunch, then free time to snorkel, swim, or relax on the beach before your transfer back to your Phuket hotel.
