    The trip was very well organized by Silk Road Tour. The local tour guide and program were well coordinated and offered great insights with opportunities for independent exploration. A delicious and varied lunch was the daily highlight. The group was nice and small with four people. The tour guide and driver were responsive to special requests and I felt safe and comfortable.

    I booked two consecutive tours with Silk Road Tours and Programme and organisation were perfect and in line with the description. Guides were very friendly and flexibe to accomodate individual wishes (special food, visits outside the programme etc); the large majority also had a very good background on local culture and history. Transportation was always ok, food was always good and accomodations as well. A very big thanks to Ben Yan from Silkroad for his perfect support answering my many individual questions and requests.

    Is this tour a fully guided group tour? And is the 11th July a confirmed departure date? Also can you send us a detailed itinerary with exact starting and end times? And will the airport transfers be included in the tour price?

      Yes, this is a nearly fully guided tour. In Urumqi, no guide staying in hotel. We don't have anyone booked this tour, but we run it based on minimum of 2 people. We don't have exactly timetable like what you request as the tour is flexible for the daily timing. Airport transfers are included.

      We can refund you the full payment if you cannot get the China Visa. You don't need to mention you will travel to Xinjiang while applying your Visa, otherwise you will be rejected easily.

    • For any tour departing before August 24th, 2025 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after August 24th, 2025, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Silk Road Trips. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 70 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
