- JCJohn· August 6th, 2025Really enjoyed the tour as it was well organized and had a full itinerary. The guides in both Giza/Cairo: Su and Ahmed in Aswan/Luxor were very knowledgeable and understanding with their time. The people were very hospitable and police presence meant everything was very safe.Show moreTrip date: July 2025
- Gareth· July 22nd, 2025Excellent and very well organized tour. Although this tour was jammed packed full of activities, the pace of the tour was very relaxed and there was plenty of time to do all the activities that was planned. The tour guides were extremely knowledgeable about Egypt and very accommodating to any requests that were asked of them. Even certain requests that needed to be done on short notice were done with no complaints with a big smile. Even the tour driver Bob was very accommodating and made you feel welcomed whenever he took you to your destination. I recommend to anyone (age doesn't matter) who is highly interested in experiencing Egyptian Ancient culture in a relaxing pace.Show moreTrip date: July 2025
- Hugo· July 1st, 2025Automatic translation available in English. View in EnglishFor our French-speaking friends, we never felt insecure (Middle East conflict in particular). The organization is straightforward: even if something goes wrong, the team knows how to find solutions. For example, our flight was delayed, which prevented us from taking an afternoon tour. We were immediately reassured that we would see everything, and they even went the extra mile for us. It was an exceptional trip, perhaps as grandiose as you'd imagine. You'll see wonders, spend time on boats at sunset. Probably one of the most beautiful trips we've ever taken. The tour took place from June 23 to 29, and it was hot, especially in Luxor. But very bearable in Cairo. From July onwards, it's perhaps a little too presumptuous. In short, it's a magnificent cruise, with solid, efficient supervision, and you'll be relieved of a great deal of mental work, provided you're at least comfortable taking a tour in English. Rest assured, it's very accessible. Beware, however: the pace can be brisk for the faint-hearted, especially the visit to Abu Simbel, which starts at 3.30 a.m., and takes 3.5 hours to get there and back. But it's all worth it? A word of clarification: at first, we wanted to take the train. But the team advised us against it, because standards are not the same as in France. In the end, we took their advice. It still cost us a lot of money (unforeseen expenses) because we had 2 round-trip tickets. BUT: the price of the tickets also included the 2-night hotel stay. In Luxor, we stayed in a magnificent hotel on the banks of the Nile. Magnificent sunset and colors, professional and pleasant staff, very fair prices at the restaurant. In retrospect, if we hadn't taken the plane, we'd have missed out on that night in Luxor, as well as the next day (our flight was at 8.25pm), which was clearly the icing on the cake. Go for it, it's safe and supervised. Yes, you'll sometimes be asked for tips (and even then, this is avoided to the max by the guides) and yes, you'll pay more for things than they cost, but that's also the folklore of the country and of tourism. Thank you for this beautiful souvenir. ?Show moreTrip date: June 2025
- DWDexter· June 22nd, 2025I would give this experience a 4.5/5 stars. Overall, it is a great tour to accomplish a once in a lifetime experience of visiting amazing historical sites in Egypt. Below I will give what I believe to be a fair assessment of my experience. The good: -Mohammed, the owner of the tour, is very responsive and will take good care of you. You may even receive complimentary upgrades at times. -Sohaila was our tour guide for the Cairo portion. She is possibly one of my favorite people I’ve met in my travels across the world. She was extremely knowledgeable, patient with our group, anuthentic in her perspectives, and even open to hearing our perspectives as we were talking through the Egyptian history. I appreciated that because I’m the type that loves Egyptian history and talk for hours if I could. -Ahmed was our tour guide for a majority of the trip and he was also great. He did his very best to make sure we were safe, happy, and provide Egyptian knowledge without being overwhelming. If he could make your experience better, he was going to go out of his way to atleast try. Even with things that may not be his job. I truly appreciated that. -the room on the cruise ship was nice, and the food was fairly good for the most part. Maybe 8/10. The cruise ship also felt safe and secure. The bad: - the itinerary for the trip is jam packed, especially if you book any of the optional portions…so therefore if you get delayed in ANYTHING, then the rest of the trip will be impacted. Ultimately, it will feel rushed and the value of your experience will go down. They will try to make up for it if they can, but they can’t add more time in the day. - another thing about the itinerary, you really don’t get clarity about each day until the day of, or the last minute. It’s not always clear what the plan is. - this part is NOT completely the tour company’s fault so I didn’t add this is the star rating… you CANNOT go anywhere, including the cruise ship, without people looking for a tip. You pay an upfront tip to Mohammed to cover tips for your experience, but still people will directly ask you for tips for even the most basic of things. I’m adding this portion mostly for the person who has never traveled to Egypt. Please account for this when you budget for your experience. You will need to be ready to tip on top of the amount you provide the tour company for tips. It’s simply part of the culture.Show moreTrip date: June 2025
- Bernard Michael· June 14th, 2025The tour has been amazing overall. The tour is very organized and our tour guides, Sohaila and Ahmed always went far and beyond to accommodate our requests. Our tour manager, Mohamed is very kind and accommodating. He even gave me and my partner free flight upgrades for our tour. He also gave us discounts. Our Cairo Tour is lovely. We were able to see the Pyramids which is a dream of mine. The cruise is very beautiful as well. Our cabins are very elegant and we love it. Egypt is very safe as long as you stay with your tour guides. There are a lot of people in the streets that ask for money but I think I understand given the economy of the country .Show moreTrip date: June 2025
- KHKathryn· June 10th, 2025The overall trip was so full & educational & well organized to a tee. Mohammed is a legend with all the details & was on every point of accommodation/ train/transfer for flights & I felt totally safe in his hands. I would definitely be more clear about the train to Aswan & Luxor back to Cairo as that seems like it shouldn't be an option & just put a flight transfer to & from Aswan & Luxor in the itinerary. Our guide Ahmed was top notch with all the information about every visit we made to the temples & was great to organize the transfers etc & coordinate everything. He is a mind of so much knowledge & I learned so much from him. I loved this tour.Show moreTrip date: June 2025
- CCharlotte· June 9th, 2025My partner and I went on a tour with Holidays in Egypt. We had such an amazing time. Our guide Hasan was very funny and it was a pleasure to listen to his stories about Egypt. Sometimes things don't go to plan like our hot air balloon being cancelled and still waiting on our money back but you can't control everything such as weather or flight delayed unfortunately. Otherwise we both really enjoyed our holidays and recommand it. People need to be ready and prepared for an Egyptian holidays cause this is not resting at all. People are constantly asking you for money, tips as long as you look like à tourist. Even in public places such as airports and museum. Egypt is beautiful but very overwhelming. Thanks Hasan for being à great guide and wish you all the best ! Charlotte and MichaelShow moreTrip date: May 2025

- KNKiyoko Kurusu· June 7th, 2025My husband and I had several wished fir experiences that were not included in the Cleopatra itinerary. Holiday in Egypt expertly accommodated these and managed somehow seamlessly woven in our 10 day+ stay in Egypt. The immigration process was smooth, the upon arrival visa process was smooth. May weather was not as hot as I anticipated; the breezes at historical sites were welcome , the guides at each regions made clear what to expect and toilet and water breaks were available Breakfasts at the hotels and cruise ships were international and did not lack selections. Some unexpected; we added a day trip to Alexandria with round air, which turned into a trip with a driver and a guide. The visit to the Nbian village could have been longer and detailed The airport security process with 2 checkin size luggages for us in the mid80s was worrysome. But our drivers and the airport helpers managed help with our luggages. Wow, I recomment Holiday in Egypr fir unique exoeriences in Egypt.Show moreTrip date: May 2025

Asked on August 7th, 2025Is it possible to know if the cabins will be close? We are 5: my dad, my partner and our two children (7 and 9 years old). If I book two cabins, I want to be sure they will be next to each other. Also, will my dad have easy access to his cabin? Because he has difficulty walking. Would you have a photo of the cabins and beds?
- Holiday In EgyptOperator•Written August 2025
We will make sure to book two cabins next to each other so you can be close as a family. For your father's comfort, we will request a cabin on the main deck for easier access, as Nile cruise ships usually have stairs between decks. Most Nile cruises do not have balconies, but they do feature large panoramic windows so you can enjoy the beautiful Nile views from your cabin.
