Day 1
Delhi
Your day starts with a private pickup from the airport or hotel, then your guide takes you through Delhi's main historical sites. You'll see Jama Masjid first, walking through its red sandstone courtyard, followed by the Red Fort where you can explore the Mughal architecture up close. After that, you head to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and then Humayun's Tomb, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with intricate details. Next comes the Qutub Minar, an impressive brick minaret that's quite tall and worth seeing from different angles. By midday you'll have lunch at a buffet, then get dropped back at your airport or hotel to rest.

I had booked 2 day trips in Dehli with Travel Creators Of India in March 2023. Though there was a very good and professional communication beforehand, the trips themselves were not really of the expected quality. For this trip: - I asked them before to skip Jama Mosque, Qutub Minar and Houses of Parliament (because I already had seen those sites only a few days ago), which was done. - BUT the following site, which should be included in the tour due to the description were also skipped without asking me *the Kinnari Bazaar (wedding market) *the textile market *the Nai Sarak book market *the Khari Baoli-Spice Market, *Humayun’s Tomb - The visited sites were really nice, but the guide was absolutely not an expert as stated in the tours description! - We went to a spice market but I had NO time to explore and look around in my own time. The guide was in a hurry the whole time again (as on the 1st day)! - He finally brought me to the Ghandi museum but then gave me exactly 40 min to look around, because he hadn't eaten so far! When I wasn't back at 1 p.m., he indeed came searching for me and making sure, I was on my way back. - On the way to the spice market the guide told me to pay 200 rupies for a max of 10 minutes drive and then 50 rupies for a 2 min drive with a motorcycle riksha which both seems far too much for me. I spent some more weeks before and afterwards in India and think I know a bit about the prices. - I was back at the hotel before 2 p.m. after having started at 9.30 and most of the time I spent in the car. - Even though it was my wish to skip a few sites, the rest could/ should have been extended and not telling me to hurry again. After being back home I compained about the tours/ guide but the operator was not very cooperative. Only with the support of tourradar I was able to get a small refound for one of the tours. Thanks a lot to the platform tourradar. I would definitaly book again with you. I also had very positive experiences with other tours in India :-)

Delhi has two part new and old. The capital of India is New Delhi and it is one of the busiest city in India. I booked it last minutes as I found it very reasonable. Tour guide naveen was very friendly and served a great job. Red fort and Friday Mosque was the best place to explore where less people are there. Lovely tour

Payment information
- For any tour departing before February 20th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after February 20th, 2026, a minimum payment of 15% is required to confirm your booking with Travel Creators Of India. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 70 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
