  Unforrtunately, I have not had time to get back to you about this tour that we did with Omega tours to Athens, Mykonos and Santorini - Best of AThens, Mykonos and Santorini from June 28 to August 7. However, I do want you to know that the tour was very disappointing and not at all what we expected or paid for. The first tour we had in Athens to the Acropolis and stadium etc. with the local tour company was bad, a waste of time with an obnoxious guide. The tour did not pick us up on time and we ended up getting on the wrong tour bus. We then had to find a taxi to take us to catch up with the right tour and for this, the taxi charged us $50. And I am still waitring for my refund. The guide for this tour as a nasty, bad tempered man, was most unhelpful, quite obnoxious and talked a lot of nonsense most of the time. As it turned out there was not sufficient time or information readily available to book other tours or find acceptable things to do in our 'free' time. This as I had feared from the start. The boat trip to the volcano was very nice, but the only one acceptable. The sightseeing tour in Santorini was ok., for the most part, but the driver drove all over to pick up the guide who, of course, was late. The room in the hotel in Athens was small and very cramped for three people and there was barely room to take a few steps around the cramped bed/cot. It was a single room for one, where they crammed three people in. The hotel in Mykonos was better. However, the driver who picked us up from the ferry, did not take us straight to the hotel, but we were forced to drive around Mykonos while he picked up and transported his friends around. In all the trip was very disappointing and not worth what we paidfor it . More particularly the so called 'tours' ruined our trip and enforced extra unpredicted expense and made the trip more costly than expected. I am still waiting for my refund. Evelyn Purcell-Gilpin
