Our choice was a free day or pay another $530 for the optional tour. Lake Louise, Banff, Columbia Icefield, Lake Peyto were great. The train gold level experience was fantastic. And there's always one or two that hold up the whole group! We would have also liked to have had more options for meals. For the most part they were just so so. But for a first time in NYC.
