- Day 1
Casablanca to Marrakech
You'll get picked up from your hotel, riad, or the airport in Casablanca and head south toward Marrakech. The drive takes you through Berrchid and Settat with nice views along the way. Once you arrive, there's a guided tour hitting the main historical spots around Jemaa el Fna square like El Koutoubia Mosque, the Saadian Tombs, Menara Gardens, and the Majorelle Garden before heading to your accommodation.

Marrakech to Dades Valley
This morning you'll drive east into the High Atlas Mountains with stops for photos and to take in the scenery. The route goes through Tizi Ntichka pass and reaches Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO-listed Berber fortified village that's been used as a film set. After grabbing lunch at a local café, the drive continues through Ouarzazate, then Skoura Oasis and Klaa Mgouna in the Rose Valley before arriving at Boumalne Dades by late afternoon, passing fortified kasbahs along the Dades River.

- Day 3
Dades Valley to Merzouga
After breakfast, you'll travel along the Road of 1001 Kasbahs to Tighir oasis and then to Todgha, where there's a walk through the palm oasis and time exploring the Todgha Gorges. Lunch is on your own at a café before continuing to Rissani, known for its dates market and historic role as a Sahara caravan trading point. Later you'll drive through rocky desert to Merzouga where camels wait for you. The camel ride through the sand dunes at sunset leads to a desert camp with Moroccan dinner and traditional drum entertainment from nomad hosts.

- Day 4
Merzouga to Ouarzazate
Early morning brings a sunrise viewing over the desert followed by a camel ride back to the hotel for showering and breakfast (timing changes depending on your camp type). You'll take a different route back through Tafilalet Palm Grove and the village of Rissani to Alnif, then cross the Anti-Atlas mountains. A lunch break happens at Klaat M'Gouna, then the drive continues over the High Atlas mountains to Ouarzazate for overnight stay in a riad or kasbah.

After breakfast, you have free time to explore Ouarzazate on your own. The tour suggests checking out Taourirt Kasbah and Atlas Film Studios, which locals call the Hollywood of the desert. By early afternoon, you'll be dropped back in Marrakech.
