The meeting time is confirmed closer to the departure date and your adventure leader will make you aware of this in the group chat you're invited to. You usually arrive at The Great Wall of China for around 14:00. It's entirely up to you which airport you'd prefer to fly into. We can organise airport transfers for an additional cost.

Traveler•Written May 2024Both me and my wife are reasonably fit. We are used to trekking from time to time. Our children love to walk and adventure. The most important for us is just to make sure that the hike is safe for them while having the experience in sections of the wall that are more wild and not touristic.

The itinerary includes: Pick up at 8:30 from your hotel, drive 2hrs to Gubeikou Great Wall. Hike over 3hrs to lunch spot. After lunch, hike another 2hrs to camp site. Dinner with camp site owner. Stay overnight next to the Wall.

Unfortunately, as the trip includes trekking to the Great Wall in a remote area that does not have easy access and we cannot guarantee the hostels will have lifts for wheelchair access - we don't think this tour would be suitable for you.
