Asked on March 15th, 2025Are there any moderate 7 to 8 day hiking trip available starting on May 27, 2025 in Switzerland? I am traveling solo and can use any information that you can provide.
- Active AdventuresOperator•Written March 2025
I'm afraid we don't have anything starting on May 27 in Switzerland, the closest we'd have is our 'Camino De Santiago Adventure' starting May 24 - Could that work?

Asked on December 1st, 2023How difficult are the activities? We enjoy hiking and exercising but we are still fairly new to it so we want to make sure we could keep up!
- Active AdventuresOperator•Written December 2023
Our trip in Austria is classed as a Level 2 (out of 5) so as long as you love the outdoors and have a great attitude, you'll fit right in! It's also worth mentioning that all activities that we do are optional and you can discuss with our incredible guides if you decided an activity perhaps wasn't for you!

Asked on January 25th, 2023since the tour begins at a hotel, I assume that we must fly in the day before. Is that correct? Is transportation covered between the airport and the hotel?
- Active AdventuresOperator•Written January 2023
On the first day of the trip, we will meet at the Engimatt City-Garden hotel at 8:30am. Clients usually fly in the night before and are welcome to stay at any hotel in Zurich for the pre-night, but must get to the pick-up point at the pre-designated time. We don't schedule transportation between the airport and the hotel but many hotels in Zurich offer this service for their guests. It's best to check with the hotel provider to see what they offer for airport transfer.

Traveler•Written January 2023Thanks for the info. My granddaughter, who will accompany me, will not know until March whether or not she can go. If I pay the deposit now for both of us, can I get it back if we are not able to go?
- Active AdventuresOperator•Written January 2023
Your initial deposit is non-refundable however it is transferable to a new departure date as long as your trip switching outside of 90 days. If in the event you can't travel on a new departure date your deposit will be held as a credit to be used towards a future tour. The added benefit of booking now is that you'll lock in your price and will not be subject to any price increases.
