Itinerary
- Day 1
Mostar
Start by heading to Zavala monastery, then make your way to the Radimlja archaeological site, which is a UNESCO World Heritage location with some really interesting medieval tombstones. After that, you'll walk through Mostar's old town, which is also on the UNESCO list and has narrow streets worth wandering through. The rest of the day is yours to explore at your own pace before you get settled into your accommodation.

Mostar
This day focuses on the region around Mostar. You'll head to Blagaj monastery first, then continue on to Pocitelj, a medieval town perched on a hillside. From there, check out the Mogorjelo archaeological site, and if you're up for it, Kravica waterfall has nice pools for swimming. By evening, you're back in Mostar with free time to grab dinner or just relax.

Mostar to Sarajevo
You'll travel toward Sarajevo this morning, stopping to see Konjic bridge along the route. Once you arrive, spend time in Sarajevo's historical center, which has a tentative UNESCO listing. There's plenty of free time to walk around the old bazaar, check out local cafes, or just get a feel for this city's character.

Sarajevo to Zenica
Start early at Sarajevo's viewpoint to catch the panoramic views across the city and surrounding hills. Then head out to the Bosnian Pyramids, which is a fascinating archaeological site. Later, you'll drive to Zenica, where you'll have the rest of the afternoon and evening to explore on your own before staying the night.

Zenica to Jajce
Travel through central Bosnia today, visiting Vranduk fortress and Travnik fortress as you go. By afternoon, you'll reach Jajce and see the waterfall, which flows down into the town center and is quite a sight. Spend your remaining time exploring Jajce's historic areas and enjoying the atmosphere of this charming town.

Jajce to Medjugorje
Start in Jajce by exploring the fortress and historical center, both of which have tentative UNESCO listings. Then visit Scit monastery before heading south to Medjugorje, a major pilgrimage site for Catholics. You'll have time in the evening to walk around and see why so many people come here.

Medjugorje to Trebinje
Begin at the Medjugorje pilgrimage center, then continue south to Stolac fortress, which is on the tentative UNESCO list. Next, check out Vjetrenica cave, also tentatively listed by UNESCO, which has impressive formations. You'll arrive in Trebinje by evening with time to settle in and explore the town.

Trebinje to Dubrovnik
Visit Tvrdos monastery and Trebinje cathedral this morning. After that, head to Kupari beach for a final taste of the coast before making your way back to Dubrovnik. This wraps up your tour through Bosnia and Herzegovina.
