Abdu shared his archeology knowledge at the Giza pyramid and ancient city of Memphis, near Cairo .A day trip to Alexandria helped me to understand the Greek Roman period and it was beautiful at the Citadel to walk along the Mediterranean Sea. I enjoyed the 5 day Nile River cruise with our guide Mehut. The optional evening sail to see the Nubai Village with him was very interesting, not to mention the amazing hot air balloon ride over the valley of the Kings. Everyday I felt safe as a female solo traveler with the guides.
