Lucerne
You've got the day to yourself in Lucerne. Wander around the squares and churches scattered throughout town, or check out how the old and new mix together here. The city center has some good shopping if that interests you, and everything sits right along the Reuss River, so it's a nice backdrop while you're walking around.

Landmarks Lion Monument Chapel Bridge - Day 2
Lucerne
A guided walking tour takes you through Lucerne's key spots. You'll see the Lion Monument, which has a lot of history attached to it, then move through the Old Town with its narrow streets. The Chapel Bridge and Water Tower are on the route, and you'll also visit the Jesuit Church. It's a good way to get oriented if you want someone pointing out what matters.

Lucerne to Breisach
This morning you're heading up Mount Pilatus, going up almost 7,000 feet for views across central Switzerland. If the weather doesn't cooperate, the Swiss Transport Museum becomes your backup option instead. Later that evening, you'll board a cruise heading to Breisach, so pack accordingly and be ready to transition from mountain to river travel.

- Day 4
Breisach
The Adventure Center is where you pick what to do today. You can take a leisurely bike ride along the Rhine, walk through the Black Forest and see the traditional open-air museum with its water mill, or visit a local winery to learn about German winemaking and do a tasting. There's also an option to add Colmar as an extra excursion. That evening, the cruise heads to Strasbourg.

Strasbourg
Strasbourg offers several directions. Bike through the city with your Adventure Host, or join a sightseeing tour covering the Gothic cathedral with its ancient murals and astronomical clock, plus La Petite France. You can also explore the Maginot Line fortifications or Alsace wine country as optional add-ons. If you'd rather have downtime, the city center and museums are worth your time. Cruise to Mainz this evening.

Pick your activity for the day. Walk the Philosophers' Way in Heidelberg with your Adventure Host, or take a guided tour to Heidelberg Castle to see its renaissance ruins and the Great Vat. Alternatively, explore Mainz with a guided walk that includes the Gutenberg Museum. Back on board that evening, there's live entertainment planned.

Rüdesheim - Koblenz
You can hike through vineyards around Rüdesheim with your Adventure Host or tour the Mechanical Music Museum instead. As you sail toward Koblenz, you'll pass through the UNESCO World Heritage Rhine Gorge with ancient castles sitting 400 feet above the water and the Rock of the Lorelei coming into view. Koblenz gives you free time to walk around before returning to the ship for dinner and live entertainment.

Cologne
In Cologne, choose between a local bike ride with your Adventure Host, a walking tour focused on Jewish heritage sites, or a guided city walk highlighting the iconic twin-steepled Gothic cathedral. After that, spend some time with a glass of Kölsch, the pale lager that's been brewed locally for over a century. Tonight the cruise heads to Amsterdam.

Amsterdam
Start early with a morning walk through Amsterdam with your Adventure Host, or take a guided canal cruise past the stately homes from Amsterdam's Golden Age. Depending on the season, you can add Keukenhof gardens during tulip season or visit Zaanse Schans with its historic windmills year-round. Optional biking tours are also available. You'll have free time to walk the colorful streets, check out the canal houses, galleries, and shops.
