Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Tirana
You'll arrive at Mother Teresa International Airport and head to your hotel in Tirana for the night. It's a straightforward transfer to settle in and rest after your flight.
- Day 2
Kruja - Shkodra
Start early heading to Kruja, stopping in Fushe Kruja to see the George W. Bush square and statue. From there you'll walk through Kruja's old bazaar and check out the History Museum of Skanderbeg and Ethnography Museum. Later you'll continue on to Shkodra, where you can see Rozafa Castle and St. Steven Cathedral in this northwestern city.

Koman - Prizren
Travel toward Koman in the morning and board a ferry for the trip along Komani Lake, which offers great views of the landscape. After that you'll head into Kosovo and arrive in Prizren, where Ottoman and Byzantine architecture fills the old town. Spend time exploring the Sinan Pasha Mosque and the Stone Bridge near Schadervan Square.

Peja - Prishtina
Leave early for Peja and walk the main boulevard before visiting the Patriarchate of Pec. Then head to Prishtina, Kosovo's capital, where you'll see the NEWBORN monument marking Kosovo's independence and check out the 15th Century Imperial Mosque that Sultan Mehmet II Fatih built.

Skopje - Ohrid
Head to Skopje, Macedonia's capital, this morning. You'll visit the Fortress and St. Spas Church, then walk across the Stone Bridge and see the Mother Teresa Memorial House. After that, drive to Ohrid where you'll stay the night.

Ohrid
Start with a morning visit to Sv Naum monastery, then spend time in Ohrid on the shore of Ohrid Lake. You'll see the important churches and sights here, including the Church of Mother of God, Ohrid Fortress, and the Church of St John Kaneo with its location right on the water.

Berat - Tirana
Head toward Berat in the morning with a stop in Elbasan. Once there you'll walk through the Gorica and Mangalem neighborhoods where medieval Orthodox churches and mosques stand throughout. You'll go up to the hilltop citadel where about 150 families still live and see the Onufri Museum of icons inside the Cathedral of Dormition of St. Mary. Later you'll drive back to Tirana for the night.
