- Day 1
Amsterdam
You'll arrive in Amsterdam with the day open for exploring on your own schedule. If you're visiting during tulip season, there's a guided tour option to Keukenhof gardens where you can see over seven million tulips and bulbs on display. When it's outside that season, you can opt for a guided excursion to Zaanse Schans instead to check out historic windmills and traditional Dutch houses. Make sure you're back on board the Suite Ship by 5 pm.

Amsterdam to Cologne
Start with a guided canal cruise through Amsterdam's waterways, taking in historic stately homes from the Golden Age period. During the afternoon, you can join guided optional excursions or wander through Amsterdam's colorful streets, browse canal houses and galleries, or shop around at your own pace. By evening you'll cruise toward Cologne.

Cologne
In Cologne, you have three activity options: bike around like a local, take a guided walking tour focusing on Jewish heritage sites, or join a guided city walk exploring the impressive gothic cathedral with its twin steeples. Later in the day, grab a glass of Kölsch pale lager, a local beer brewed in the area for over 100 years. Live entertainment from local musicians happens on board this evening before you cruise to Rüdesheim.

Rüdesheim
You'll sail through the Rhine Gorge, a UNESCO World Heritage site, passing ancient castles perched on cliffs about 400 feet above the water and the legendary Rock of the Lorelei. Once in Rüdesheim, choose between a hike through vineyards with your Adventure Host or a guided tour of the Mechanical Music Museum. Live entertainment happens on board this evening.

Heidelberg
Heidelberg offers you three options for the day: hike up Philosophers' Way for inspiring views of the city, take a guided city walk including the Gutenberg Museum to learn about printing history, or visit Heidelberg Castle to see renaissance ruins and the Great Vat, which is the world's largest wine barrel. You'll cruise to Strasbourg in the evening.

Evening cruise takes you to Breisach.

Breisach
Choose a full-day guided tour to the Black Forest where you'll see the Vogtsbauernohf open-air museum, an authentic water mill, and a traditional butter-making demonstration. Alternatively, visit a local winery in Breisach for a wine tasting and to learn about German winemaking. There's also a guided excursion option to the charming village of Colmar with its half-timbered medieval buildings. You'll cruise to Basel in the evening.

Mount Pilatus and Lucerne
You'll leave the ship and transfer by motorcoach to Mount Pilatus. The special excursion takes you almost 7,000 feet up for spectacular views across central Switzerland (or visit the Swiss Transport Museum if weather is bad). From there, head to Lucerne for a guided walking tour exploring the city's beautiful areas, including Thorwaldsen's Lion Monument and the famous Chapel Bridge.
