The tour of Scotland was very informative due to the fact that we had an excellent tour manager. Before we would reach each destination she would tell us about the history, geography, cultural and any other pertinent information that could possibly interest us about our destination. One of the most memorable experiences was the border collie sheep dog demonstration. It was facinating to see how the dogs responded to the shepherd's commands. To top it off he brought out a baby lamb and two border collie puppies for everyone to hold and pet.

WOW!! What a fabulous experience. Touring so much of Scotland, especially those areas off the beaten path. Our tour manager, Ian, was fantastic -- knowledgeable, considerate, and fun. Paired with our amazing coach driver, Frank, they were an unbeatable combination. If you want to truly experience Scotland, this is the tour for you.

All aspects of the trip were up to the standard I have come to expect on a Collette Tour. This was number ten for me. What sets Collette apart is the number of cultural immersion experiences.. This tour had seven of eight nights with dinner included, and the food was very good with varied choices. Visits to the Isle of Skye and Orkney Islands were especially interesting. The tour manager was very professional and local guides enhanced the tour.

There were many, but the sheep herding dog demonstration was the best. The bagpipe center in Glasgow was very interesting, and a great meal followed in their three-star restaurant. The evening of Scottish entertainment and dinner was worthwhile.

Although I thought we spend more time on the bus and not enough time exploring the cities and attractions, I enjoyed the overall experience especially visiting the sheep herding ranch which was the highlight of the tour. I also thought the Orkney Islands were very interesting and enjoyable!

The tour provided a good representation of Scotland past and present. I especially liked the visit to the farm to see sheepdog at workand the cookery school both provided an authentic peak at the culture of Scotland.. The tour also provided an provide an opportunity to to see a variety of castles. I do not recommend the add on of the Scottish cultural experience. It felt like a cheap theme park show. Overall it was a memorable experience.

Working sheep farm was my favorite. Edinburgh Castle was amazing also. Not enough free time on our own to explore. Ended up basically having to buy 2 airline tickets and a change ticket fee to go without taking the chance of getting a nice TSA agent to put me through since my name did not match my passport. Collette would not talk to me personally, Said correspondence had to go through my tour representative who wasn't much help either.
