Asked on June 24th, 2025I am very interested in joining your sept 14 tour to PNG with the Goroka festival. At the moment i am a single traveller but i am hoping to convince a friend to join me. Can i sign up now and later have a friend join me. We'd just to work out the single supplement part later i guess. Can you tell me what this is too. Last question - what is the fitness level on this trip?
Indigo SafarisOperator•Written June 2025You need to be able to walk around for about 7 hours to get the most out of the festival. You can take breaks and sit down if necessary. The birding morning is about a three hours on your feet, some uphill walking. We would book you as a single traveller as that is how this system works, and adjust if your friend joined to share a room with you.

There is space for next year. We don't put people who don't know each other in the same room, so the single supplement is applicable. Vegetarian diets are not a problem, though do not expect a plant-based protein substitute.

We have heard some horror stories about lodging in very bad condition. Will you arrange more than one group if the first gets full? One of us is waiting for eventyally operation dicission in mars so the question is how long we can wait with booking? And what is the cancellation policy?

There are no German or Austrian guides. I run the trips and speak English and French. The 8-night tour is fully booked already. I have space left on the 4-night packages. There are plenty of images here of the rooms on tours I run.

Most of the time we are in the Highlands, where it is not humid. Temperatures will be between 12 and 28 C. 1 night, the last, has no flush toilet. That night showers are in a rustic shower block. All other nights are en-suite bathrooms. No. Bottled water is available, even though local tap water is fine.
