Itinerary
- Day 1
Departure to Zimbabwe
Make sure everything at home is sorted out before heading to the airport. You're flying to Zimbabwe today, so give yourself enough time to get there without rushing around at the last minute.
- Day 2
Arrival at Victoria Falls
Your guide meets you at Victoria Falls airport and drives you about 30 minutes to Ilala Lodge, which sits just steps from the falls. Spend the rest of the day settling in and recovering from travel.

Victoria Falls to Kasane
Walk the circular trail at Victoria Falls to see the Zambezi River plunge over 100 meters, with water spray rising 200 meters high. Locals call it 'Mosi-oa-Tunya' or 'thundering smoke'. Check out the tropical rainforest, then drive to Kasane in Botswana. End with a sundowner at your accommodation.

Chobe National Park Safari
Morning guided safari in an open jeep through Chobe National Park, looking for lions and grazing animals. Rest at the lodge pool around midday. In the afternoon, take a three-hour boat safari on the Chobe River to see elephants, hippos, crocodiles, and bird species like the African Screaming Eagle.

Chobe to Gweta
Spend the morning in Chobe Park before heading to Gweta. Once settled, walk through Mopane bush forest with your guide in the afternoon. Visit a waterhole where ancient baobab trees, some 4,000 years old, surround the area.

Makgadikgadi Salt Pans and Gweta
Early morning walk across the Ntwetwe pan salt flats, watching for zebras and oryx antelopes. Visit a meerkat colony for close observation. After lunch, explore Gweta village, including the local school, court, village square, and a Cattle Post to learn about cattle's importance to Botswana's culture.

Gweta to Moremi Game Reserve
Travel to Maun and visit the Shorobe basket weaving cooperative where 43 female artisans work. See how they create traditional crafts using labor-intensive techniques. Then head through rough terrain to Moremi Game Reserve, arriving at your lodge. End the evening with a sundowner and dinner.

Landmarks/POIs Moremi Game Reserve Okavango Delta - Day 8
Full Day Safari in Moremi Game Reserve
Spend the entire day exploring Moremi Game Reserve in open four-wheel-drive vehicles. Look for large herds of elephants and buffalo, along with major predator species. The Okavango River supports vegetation that grows much larger here. Return to the lodge as the sun sets.

Landmarks/POIs Moremi Game Reserve - Day 9
Moremi to Maun with Land, Water and Air Safari
Start in an open jeep heading to Moremi Game Reserve, famous for leopards and African wild dogs. Around noon, reach Xakanaxa and transfer to a boat for about 1 to 1.5 hours through waterways. Watch for birds of prey. Then board a small plane for a 20-minute flight over the Okavango Delta back to Maun before driving to your lodge.

Kalahari and Ghanzi
Drive to Ghanzi to experience the Kalahari's red sand and extreme temperature swings. Meet San guides in the afternoon who share their culture, teach tracking skills, and show you special Kalahari plants and their healing properties. The San represent thousands of years of preserved traditions.

Kalahari to Namibia (Onjala Lodge)
Cross into Namibia, leaving Botswana behind. Settle in at Onjala Lodge and take in the charming landscape and hospitable atmosphere. Later, visit the observatory to look through a Zeiss refractor telescope and observe double stars, star clusters, and gas nebulae under the clear sky.

Onjala Game Park
Start before breakfast with a one-hour guided walk from your accommodation to see giraffes, mountain zebras, and kudus in the African thorn bush savannah. Rest around noon. Then take a two-hour game drive in an open off-road vehicle, searching for oryx antelopes and springboks. Finish watching a spectacular African sunset.
