- Day 1
Arrival
You'll arrive in Quito whenever works for your flight, then meet up with your CEO and the rest of the group for a welcome orientation. This gives you a chance to get your bearings and meet the people you'll be traveling with for the next few days.

- Day 2
Quito
Start the day with a walking food tour through Quito's historic center, where you'll sample local dishes and swing by landmarks including Palacio Arzobispal and La Compañía. You'll also taste chocolate and coffee before heading to the UNESCO-listed Old Town. By afternoon, drive up to Panecillo viewpoint for panoramic views of the city spread out below, then continue to Mitad del Mundo where you can stand right on the equator with one foot in each hemisphere. It's one of those quirky spots that's worth the trip.

Quito (Free Day)
Check out of your hotel and you've got the day to yourself. Either wander around Quito on your own or sign up for one of the optional excursions like a tour to Cotopaxi Volcano or the Mindo Cloud Forest if you're interested. If you're moving on to another G Adventures tour, your CEO will help get you connected with your new group as evening rolls around.
