Take a city tour through Kigali to see the capital's main attractions and landmarks. By evening, you're back at your hotel for the night.

Kigali to Akagera National Park
Head to Akagera National Park with a stop for the Migongo Tour along the way. Once there, you'll take a boat trip on Lake Ihema to see the park's wildlife and water views.

Akagera National Park
Spend the full day doing a game drive through Akagera National Park, watching for all kinds of wildlife. After that, you'll drive back to Kigali for the night.

Kigali to Karongi
Travel to your next destination with stops at the King's Palace Museum and National Ethnographic Museum. Then continue on to your lodge for the night.

Karongi
Start early with either a chimpanzee trek or colobus trek to see these primates in the forest. After the trek, you'll do a canopy adventure up in the treetops. Return to your lodge in Karongi by evening.

Karongi to Musanze
Take a boat trip on Lake Kivu and hike out to Peace and Napoleon islands to check out the scenery. Later, transfer to Musanze where you'll stay the night.

Landmarks/POIs Lake Kivu - Day 8
Musanze
Get up early for gorilla trekking in the mountains to see mountain gorillas in their natural setting. In the afternoon, visit Gorilla Guardians Village to learn about conservation work in the area. Return to your lodge in Musanze.

Musanze to Kigali
Head out early to trek for golden monkeys and observe these rare primates. After the trek, transfer back to Kigali and get dropped off at the airport or your hotel.
