Traveler•Written April 2024How are camping equipment and travellers' bags handled during the adventure? Will water be supplied, or should travelers bring their own? Is it possible to have the briefing on the first day of the adventure?
- G AdventuresOperator•Written April 2024
The briefing needs to happen the day before! All camping equipment is carried by porters. The traveller is responsible for their sleeping bag, sleeping mat, clothing and toiletries. They will have a duffle bag they can pack up to 6kg with this stuff and need to carry the rest themselves. Water will be boiled for the traveller on each stop! We recommend bringing a large water bottle to carry the water as you hike.

Asked on October 2nd, 2022What is the difference between the 4D/3N inca trail and the 5D/4N tour? Is it just the 1 day at Cusco (which is considered Day 1?
- G AdventuresOperator•Written October 2022
Yes, the 5D/4N includes the first night in a hotel in Cusco. This is the same day you will visit the G Adventures office in Cusco for a safety briefing and hiking information. On the 4D/3N you will need to find your own accommodation, and go to the office on Day 0.
