The itinerary is well thought out, seeing some wonderful sights and due to this it is quite busy at times but that is to be expected when having a limited time in a huge country, you obviously wish to see as much as you can. In saying that the pace was good and we never had to wait long for transport. Deepak the tour guide was brillaint, friendly, kind, very well organised, always able to answer any questions about India or the tour and always on hand to brief the group on the plans, the optional extras, our preferences that day or even just join him for a coffee or to try some good local street food that he knew about. He was always interested on how we were and making sure we were well rested, had what we need etc. He is a very thoughtful and good person who felt like another friend on the tour group aswell as looking after everyone. Overall the 2 weeks were amazing with my favourite being the desert camping and sleeping under the stars, so peaceful and an experience I will never forget. We can place you in the same room - once you have booked just let us know and we will note this on your bookings. The dorm rooms typically have 4-6 people per room. But you could pay to have a private twin room instead.

Yes, you can upgrade to a private room later. We would Ideally need to know before the final payment deadline (60 days before the tour). The room upgrade costs £490 for the room (£245 per person/ approx $310 per person).

Some meals are included but most are not. We advise you to budget 500-1000 INR (6-12USD) per day for food. You can change your tour date for free up to 70 days before the departure. The tour mostly attracts people in their 20s and 30s (we are a budget backpacking adventure operator).

The accommodation is 100% included in this tour. However, the price you see is for a dorm room in a hostel. We do offer a private room upgrade to which there is more information here below: Room Upgrades. Upgrade options (to single, twin, or double rooms) are available. If you'd like to upgrade to a single room this will cost (£300) per person and a double room (£150) per person. Room upgrades include single, double and twin rooms. You will be in sex-segregated hotel rooms (unless you book with friends of different sexes, in which case we will do our best to put you all together).

Accommodation during the tour is in shared dorm in hostels. All of the hostels are clean, air-conditioned or have fans, are safe, have good showers, internet, washing machines and most importantly, have real Indian character. People who stay at hostels are usually young people aged 18 to 35 who are traveling on a smaller budget than people staying at hotels. If you would like to stay in a private room though, that is absolutely possible as well as we have room upgrades available at the time of purchase.
