Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Muscat
You'll touch down at Muscat International Airport where an MTA representative meets you to walk through immigration and customs. From there, it's a transfer to your hotel so you can get settled and have some time to yourself before things get going.

Muscat City Tour
This morning starts with a half-day city tour that takes in the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque and Bait Al Zubair Museum, with photo stops at Al Alam Palace and the 16th century Portuguese forts. By evening, you'll head over to Muttrah Souq where you can wander through looking for handicrafts and silver items to take home.

- Day 3
Jabrin Castle and Bahla
Today you're heading to Nizwa, Oman's cultural heart, to check out Jabrin Castle from the 17th century with its intricate plasterwork and carved doors. After that, you'll make your way to Bahla, one of Oman's oldest towns, for a photo stop at the historic fort (it's currently closed for renovation) and time to explore the town's traditional pottery heritage.

Wahiba Sands Desert Experience
The drive takes you through Birkat Al Mauz and Ibra before reaching Wahiba Sands, a vast stretch of red and white sand dunes. You'll get to experience sand dune driving here, then head to the top of the dunes to catch the sunset before settling in for BBQ dinner under the stars.

Wadi Bani Khalid, Sur, and Ras Al Jinz Turtle Sanctuary
You'll start at Wadi Bani Khalid oasis where the pools are clear and perfect for a refreshing swim. From there, it's on to Sur, a historic fishing town where you can see traditional dhow building. After an early dinner, you'll head to Ras Al Jinz Turtle Sanctuary for a nighttime visit to watch Green Turtles come back from the sea to lay their eggs.

Bibi Miriam's Tomb and Bimah Sinkhole Return to Muscat
After breakfast, you'll visit the ruins of Bibi Miriam's Tomb in Qalhat village (photo stop), then move on to Bimah Sinkhole with its striking blue-green limestone crater. The drive along the coast gives you chances to spot sharks in the water or gazelles on the landscape before you head back to Muscat.
